(p. 1095) lakṣyamu lakshyamu. [Skt.] adj. Observable, perceptible. చూడదగిన, విచారింపదగిన. n. A mark, or butt, an aim. Care, regard, respect, esteem. గురి; ఉద్దేశము, గౌరవము. నాయందు వానికి లక్ష్యములేదు. he does not care for me, or mind me. An instance or example adduced in proof. దృష్టాంతము. ఇందుకు లక్ష్యము for instance. అది లక్ష్యము కాదు that is no great matter. లక్ష్యపెట్టు or లక్ష్యముచేయు lakshya-peṭṭu. v. a. To aim. Ended, finished, సమాప్తము. అతనికి సరిలేడు he has no equal. రాత్రి అయినా సరే పగలు అయినా సరే be it day or be it night. ఇది సరికాదు this is not right. ఈ ఉత్సవము నేటితో సరి this feast is finished with this day. adv. To equalize, క్రమపరచు, వంకర లేకుండా చేయు, మిట్టపల్లములు లేకుండా చేయు, ముగించు, సమానము చేయు. To ruin, నాశముచేయు, సరిచూచు sari-ṭsūṭsu. v. a.
