(p. 559) toḍikilu toḍikilu. [Tel.] v. a. To seize, snatch, bite. ఒడిసిపట్టు, లంకించుకొను. 'చ తడయకమండుతప్తఘన తైలకటాహముకేలుదామరన్, దొడికిలబట్టిరాహువు విధుంగబళించురీతి.' Jaimini. iv. 147. 'మృడునోగిరములు తొడికిలితిను శివద్రోహి వీడనుచు పచ్చిచెక్కల తలపగలంగనడచి.' BD. iv. 238.

(p. 617) drōhamu drōhamu. [Skt.] n. Treachery. కీడుతలపు. Harm, offence, wickedness, a sin. రాజద్రోహము treason. స్వామిద్రోహము a sin against God. గురుద్రోహము a sin against a Guru. ద్రోపహముచేయు to act treacherously. ద్రోహబుద్ధి an evil heart. ద్రోహి drōhi. n. A traitor.

(p. 754) pitūrī pitūrī. [H.] n. An intrigue, plot, treason, conspiracy. కుట్ర. Tale bearing (Krishna District). Riot or rebellion (Godavery District). పితూరికోరు pitūri-kōru. n. A rebel, a traitor, a conspirator, ద్రోహి. A tale-bearer, చాడీలు చెప్పువాడు.

(p. 1084) reṇḍu renḍu. [Tel.] pron. and adj. Two n. Difference. భేదము. 'చ పతియెడ రెండులేక కులభామలు .... సన్మతిజదియించుటొప్పు.' రా. అ. కాం. ఆకుండ రెండు అయినది the pot broke in two. వాడు ఉన్నదిలేనిది రెండు తెలియలేదు I do not know whether he is there or not. రెండుమాట్లు twice. రెండుతలచు renḍu-talaṭsu. v. n. To think both ways, i.e., to be double minded or treacherous. ద్రోహముచేయు. రెండుతలచేవాడు a treacherous man. రెండవ or రెండో renḍava. adj. Second. other. ఇందుకు రెండోపేరు ఏమి what is the other name of this? రెండోవాడులేడు nobody else was present. రెండో మనిషితో చెప్పలేదు I told nobody else. అతడు రెండవ కృష్ణుడు in beauty he was a second Krishṇa. రెండింట renḍ-inṭa adv. By two, రెంటితో రెండింటగుణించు multiply by two.

(p. 1235) vyāpādamu vy-āpādamu. [Skt.] n. Evil design, malice prepense. ద్రోహచింత, ద్రోహపుతలపు. వ్యాపాదనము vy-āpādanamu. n. Killing, slaying. చంపడము. Wishing evil, treacherousness. ద్రోణము తలచుట.

(p. 1289) saṭa saṭa. [Tel.] n. An untruth, lie; a trick; cunning, intricacy. అబద్ధము, మాయ, మోసము, కపటము, చిక్కు. సటవటమాటలు boasting lies or idle talk, ౛ల్లిమాటలు. 'ద్రోహబుద్ధినైన దొంగరికమునైన, సటలనైన సాహసములనైన.' Vema. iii. 33. 'సటలివిమానరోరిహరి.' Parij. iii. 33. సట saṭa. [Skt.] n. Clotted hair. ౛డ, కేసరసమూహము. A mane, ౛ూలు.

(p. 1378) svāmi svāmi. [Skt. from స్వమ్.] n. A lord, master, sovereign, owner, proprietor, husband, spiritual guide or preceptor. 'My lord, Sir.' A Brahmin is usually thus addressed by a junior or by a Sudra. ప్రభువు, కర్త, పతి, గురువు, దేవుడు, దేవత. స్వామిపరాకు behold! be attentive. భాగస్వామి a share holder, పాలివాడు. స్వామిత svāmi-ta. n. Mastership, lordship, ownership. ప్రభుత్వము, యాజమాన్యము. స్వామిత్వము svāmitvamu. n. Mastership, lordship, ownership, right, title. ప్రభూత్వము, కర్తృత్వము, అధికారము, బాధ్యత. అతని స్వామిత్వము పోయినది he has lost his ownership. స్వామిద్రోహము svāmi-drōhamu. n.
