(p. 630) naḍi , నడిమి or నడు naḍi. [Tel. from నడుము.] adj. Middle, mid. నడికాలము the idle time of the year, between the ploughings. నడితడప the thick or middle part of a palm branch, తడప. నడికట్టు nadi-kattu. (నడిమి+కట్టు.) n. A girdle, waistband. నడిరేయి, నడికిరేయి, నడురేయి or నడిమికొల్లగాడు naḍi-rēyi. n. Midnight. అర్ధరాత్రము. నడికొప్పు naḍi-koppu. n. The ridge of a pent roof. నడికొల్లగాడు or నడిమికొల్లగాడు naḍi-kolla-gāḍu. n. An interloper. నడినూకలు naḍi-nūkalu. n. Grits, half broken grain, what in America is called hominy. In Madras it is called rolong. అర్ధతండులములు. నడినెత్తి or నడునెత్తి naḍi-netti. n. The middle of the head, the crown of the head. నడివ్రేలు naḍi-vrēlu. n. The middle finger. మధ్యమ. నడిమికావడి a hammock slung on a pole. నడిమికాడు a by-stander, a third person. నడుగుంట naḍu-gunṭa. n. The fontonelle or depression in the centre of the head. తలనడిమిపల్లము, బ్రహ్మరంధ్రము.

(p. 878) bāra bāra. [Tel.] n. A fathom, the length of the two arms extended. చాచిన రెమడు చేతులనడిమికొలత, నాలుగుమూరలు. పదిబారలు twenty yards. బార or బారా bāra. [H.] Twelve పండ్రెండు. బారచాచు bāra-tsātsu. v. a. To extend. (the arms, so as to embrace.) 'గౌరవమున బారచాచి కౌగిటచేర్చెన్.' T. iv. 146. బారచాపు bāra-ṭsāpu. n. The cloth called Long cloth. చాలా నిడివిగలబట్ట. బారదూలము, బారుపట్టె or బారుదూలము a very long piece of timber, నిడుపాటిదూలము. బారపోయు bāra-pōyu. v. a. To spin, with the arm fully stretched. చెయ్యిసాగునంతవరకు నూలువడుకు. ఏకులబారపోయు to spin thread. బారాది bār-ādi. (బార+అది) adj. A great deal. అధికము. A great many. అనేకము, బహుళము, చాలా. 'ఓరోరిరాచవాడా, రారా నావెంట దిరుగరాదాసుడనై, బారాదిమాడలిచ్చెద కోరానీయప్పుదీర్చుకోరాయనుచున్.' HN. iv. 233. 'వారిరువురుతమలోపల వైరముగొనిరాజ్యకాంక్షవిజిగీషువులై, హోరాహోరింబోరిరి, బారాదిదినంబులననిప్రజలుతలంకన్.' A. iii. 21.

(p. 482) zuṭṭanavēlu or జుట్టవ్రేలు ḍzutṭana-vēlu. [Tel.] n. The forefinger. తర్జని. The thumb or the great toe. ౛ుట్టిలి or ౛ుత్తిలి the distance between the thumb and the forefinger when they are stretched out. చాపబడిన బొటనవ్రేలికిని చూపుడువ్రేలికిని గల నడిమికొలత.
