(p. 629) naṭat naṭat. [Skt.] adj. Dancing. 'నటదుద్యద్భ్రకుటీభయంకర.' (Anir. iv. 53.) terrible with moving eyebrows. నటన or నటనము natana. n. A dance, dancing. నాట్యము. Motion, agitation; cunning behaviour, కపటప్రవర్తనము. మాయానటనము a course of fraud. నటి naṭi. n. An actress. వేశ్య , నట్టువుని పెండ్లాము. నటించు naṭinṭsu. v. n. To dance. To act, as on the stage. నాట్యమాడు to act, manage, conduct oneself, behave. వర్తించు. To behave cunningly, కపటముగా ప్రవర్తించు. నటుడు naṭuḍu. n. A dancer, an actor. నట్టువుడు. నటవాలు or నట్వాలు naṭavālu. n. A kind of pace of a horse, అశ్వగతివిశేషము.

(p. 642) nāṭakamu nāṭakamu. [Skt.] n. Acting, dancing. నర్తనము. A play, or drama. Conduct, ప్రవర్తనము. వీధి నాటకము a street play. స్ఫుటజగన్నాటకము the visible course of the world, the order of creation. జగన్నాటకుడు God, the ruler of the universe. నాటకశాల or నాట్యశాల a theatre. నాటకమాడు ṇāṭakam-āḍu. v. n. To act a play. నాటకులు nāṭakulu. n. Stageplayers, dramatis personæ. నాట్యము nāṭyamu. n. Dancing, a dance, నృత్యము. నాట్యమాడు to dance.

(p. 1342) sumāḷamu sumāḷamu. [Tel.] n. Mirth, joy, gaiety, elation, అత్యుత్సాహము, సుఖము. 'సామాన్యమానవులంగైకొనక సుమాళంబు వేద్యంబుగా.' A. iv. 44. టీ మనోభావము. సుమాళి sumāḷi. n. One who is elated with joy. సంతో షముతో ఉప్పొంగువాడు. నుమాళించు sumāḷ-inṭsu.v. n. To leap for joy.' ఉల్లాసముచేత గంతులుయు 'తే గీ తన్నుగని సుమాళించుధవు నిహృదయ, నవమయూరము చెలరేగి నాట్యమాడె.' KP. vii. 202.
