(p. 252) karuṇa karuṇa. [Skt.] n. Mercy, grace. కనికరము, కృషి. కరుణాన్వితుడు he who is merciful or gracious. కరుణించు karuṇinṭsu. v. a. To pity, to have mercy on, to favour. కనికరించు.

(p. 253) karkaśamu karkaṣamu. [Skt.] adj. Violent, harsh, rough to the feel, rugged. Hard, cruel, unfeeling కనికరములేని, కరువైన, నొప్పించే. కర్కశమైనమాటలు harsh words. కర్కశము or కర్కస or కరకసా n. Benignity. సర్వదయాళుత్వము universal beneficence, goodness to all creatures. దయాళువు or దయాశాలి dayāḷuvu. n. A kind, gracious, merciful person. కనికరముగలవాడు.

(p. 648) nikaramu nikaramu. [Tel.] adj. What remains after all deductions are made, the net balance. త్రోపుడుపోగా మిగిలినది. Selected, excellent. నికరముబంగారు the net weight of the gold. నికరంరాబడి net income. [Skt.] n. A flock or multitude. A treasure, నిధి. adj. Excellent, శ్రేష్ఠము.

(p. 650) niggu niggu. [Tel.] v. n. To thrive, flourish; to be effected. to prosper, get through, go on properly. నెగ్గు. నిర్వహిల్లు, సమకూరు. n. Brilliancy. ఉత్కృష్టకాంతి. Extract or spirit.
