(p. 207) oḍambaḍika or ఒడబడిక oḍam-baḍika. [Tel.] n. An agreement, engagement, compact, treaty, covenant, consent, assent సమ్మతి; నిబంధన పత్రిక; సమ్మతించి వ్రాసి యిచ్చిన వ్రాత. ఒడంబడు oḍam-baḍu. v. t. To agree, engage, consent. To comply with, to concede సమ్మతించు. ఒడంబరుచు oḍam-baruṭsu. v. t. To persuade, convince. ఒడచాటు Same as ఒడంబడిక.

(p. 232) kaṭṭu kaṭṭu. [Tel.] n. A tie, bond, band. A bandage, a knot బంధము, ముడి. A rule, regulation, law. నిబంధనము, నిర్బంధము. A tax or duty. Fascination,. వాకట్టు striking dumb. Soil, place ప్రదేశము. ఇసుకకట్టు sandy soil. System, fashion, mode or plot, device. కట్టుగా మాట్లాడు to speak by rule or consistently. A strike. వారు కట్టుకట్టినారు they struck work. Form, shape. Prohibition, restriction, a charm, an enchantment. మితి. A streak. నూనూగు మీసకట్టు the line of his budding whiskers. The hoop or band of a bucket, the tire of a wheel. The water in which any kind of pulse is boiled except rice. ఉలవకట్టు boilings of horse gram. Season, weather. part of the year. ఋతువు. శీతకట్టు the cold season. A forged coin. సీసకట్టు రూపాయి a leaden rupee. వెండికట్టు a silvered coin. జాతికట్టు the tie of kindred, the custom of the caste. మంత్రకట్టు fascination, charming by spells. మడికట్టు a waistband or girdle, నీరుకట్టు a stoppage of urine. వలకట్టు a weir in a river, posts to fasten a net to ఈ యింటిలో ముందరికట్టు పెద్దది వెనకటికట్టు చిన్నది the front of this house is larger than the back rooms.

(p. 232) kaṭṭupaḍu kaṭṭu-paḍu. [Tel.] v. i. To be tied, to be bound by. To be subject to బద్ధమగు. న్యాయమునకు కట్టుబడి being tied down to justice. కట్టుపాటు kaṭṭu-pāṭu. n. System, regulation, a code, a byelaw. నిబంధనము. కట్టుపాటుచేయు kaṭṭu-pāṭu-chēyu. v. a. To ordain.

(p. 653) nibandhanamu ni-bandhanamu. [Skt.] n. A condition, an agreement. ఏర్పాటు. That which is binding on any one, భంధము. adj. Ordered, arranged, కూర్పబడిన, నిబంధించు ni-bhandinṭsu. v. t. To blind, to prevent, to restrict, బంధించు, అడ్డగించు. నిబద్ధము ni-baddhamu. adj. Tied, bound. బంధింపబడిన. Prevented, restricted, అడ్డగింపబడిన.

(p. 1027) mēkhala mēkhala. [Skt.] n. A zone or girdle. The silver girdle worn by women. మొలమాలు, వడ్డాణము. The central part of a hill, కొండనడుము. A sword knot. A string or chain fastened to the hilt. A sword belt. కాంచీదామ, త్సరునిబంధనము మేఖలకన్యక mekhala-kanyaka. n. A epithet of the river Narbada.

(p. 1037) moggu or మ్రొగ్గు moggu. [Tel.] v. n. To incline, to lean on one side. To be depressed, as a scale in weighing, to bow down under a burden, to show an inclination toward, to be inclined to, వంగు, వాలు, తూలు. 'అంబరంబిలమ్రొగ్గె నహిపతిస్రగ్గె.' BD. v. 268. n. Leaning, inclination. ఒకతట్టుకై తూలడము, వంగడము, వాలడము, 'దిగ్గనలేచియోబసవధీమణి మీ మదిదోచుమార్గమే మొగ్గగుగాన పోదమని ముందచారునిబంప.' Chenna. iv. 358. మొగ్గగు, విశేషముగానున్నది, ఘనముగానున్నది. మొగ్గటిలు, మొగ్గటిల్లు మొగ్గతిలు or మ్రొగ్గతిల్లు moggatilu. v. n. To bend down, to stoop. వంగు. To kneel down, మోకరిల్లు.
