In logic, inference. సందేహము, యుక్తి చేత నిర్ణయించడము. వాని మీద అనుమానము తోచినది, వాని మీద అనుమానమున్నది I suspect him. అనుమానఖండము Induction (logic.) అనుమానించు or అనుమానపడు anu-māninṭsu. (p. 65) apōhamu apōhamu. [Skt.] n. An unwarranted inference Inferring the existence of what does not really exist any where లేనిది ఊహించుట. Ascertaining by investigation, decision. నిర్ణయము, నిష్పత్తి It commonly means a lie, a false hood, a false charge. అబద్ధము, కల్ల, తప్పు ఫిర్యాదు. నా మీద అపోహము చెప్పినాడు he laid the blame upon me falsely.

(p. 119) āyamu āyamu. [Tel. and Skt.] n. A vital part of the body. జీవస్థానము particulars, details, Receipt, gain, profit. వచ్చుబడి, ఆదాయము. Toll, tax customs, income. సుంకము. Rate, standard, fixed number. ఆయకట్టు āya-kaṭṭu. ఆయము+కట్టు.] ఆయము, లేక, ఆదాయము యొక్క నిర్ణయము, ప్రమాణము. A yard, an enclosure. Quantity, extent of land, an account specifying the varieties of kinds of soil in a certain field. ఆ యింటి ఆయకట్టుకులోగా within the compound of the house. ఆయమునకు వెచ్చమధికమైన if the expense is greater than the income. ఆయంపాటిగాయం or ఆయంపట్టుగాయం a mortal wound. ఆయముల సోకన్ to the quick.

To be selected, distinguished, separated, arranged, appointed. రూపగు, తేటపడు,బయలుపడు, నిర్ణయింపబడు. కర్తలై యేర్పడినారు they appeared as, or, turned out to be the heirs. ఏర్పరుచు or ఏర్పరించు ērparaṭsu. v. a. (casual of ఏర్పడు) To form, adjust. To choose, select. distinguish. To separate, divide, To set forth, define, declare. To arrange, to settle. ఏర్పడునట్లు చేయు. ఏర్పాటు ēr-pāṭu. n. An arrangement, settlement, rule. Fixing, disposal, decision, management. Selection, choice, agreement. నిర్ణయము, నియమము, వివరణము. ఏర్పాటుచేయు to select, arrange, to effect an arrangement. To project or scheme.

(p. 535) tīru tīru. [Tel.] v. n. To end, stop, cease, elapse. To be finished, ended, complete, or ready. To be paid, delivered, discharged, avenged. To be qualified, accomplished, finished, adorned, trim, decked. To be gratified, satiated, wreaked (as passion;) to be assuaged or allayed, to go off. ముగియు, చిక్కబడు. తనివితీర to the full; so as to satisfy one's desires. తీరలేదు it came to nothing, it was ineffectual. కోరికతీసి having gained his end. ఇది నాచేత తీరదు this is out of my power. నాకు తీరీతీరక ఉన్నది I am hardly at leisure. తీరిపోవు to die. To be practicable, or possible. అక్కడికి రాతీరదు I cannot come there, I have not leisure to come. రాకుంటే తీరదు (you) must positively come. వెళ్లక తీరదు I cannot help going. తీరినగుండెగా నున్నాడు he is quite hackneyed. తీరా tirā. (Root in A of తీరు, with the intensive affix ఆ) adv. Ultimately, at last; fairly; just, merely, in short, simply. తీరా మధ్యాహ్నమయ్యేటప్పటికి when it was high noon. ఆ గోడ తీటా పడ్డది the wall actually fell down. తూరా పండుకొనేటప్పటికి when he was fairly asleep. ఆ సంగతి తీరా బయటపడేటప్పటికి when the matter at last became known. తీరా చెల్లించెను he paid it in full. తీరిక or తీరికె tīrika. n. Leisure. పనిలేక యూరకుండుట. తీరికచిక్కిన having no leisure. Adorning, trimming, decoration. దిద్దడము. తీరిన tīrina adj. Full. finished, accomplished, cured, settled. తీరు. n. A statute or order, నిర్ణయము. దిట్టముచేయు to arrange, settle. అతడు అరవకుండా దిట్టముచేసినారు they took precautions against his crying out. The ryot's share of the crop, ఉభయరాశి అంబారములో కాపునకు చేరే వర్తనధాన్యము. 'కష్టపడి పైరుచేసే సంసారి, ముద్రపిండి, వినాయకునిచాట, గుగ్గిళ్లగంప, పాలుబాన, రాశి అడుగు, ఇవి పుచ్చుకొని,' Miscell. iii. 430. పాలాడు pāl-āḍu. v. a. To divide into shares. 'పాలుగలవాడు మన కొకజాలియిడక, తానతారసానకు వచ్చెన్.' A. iii. 39. పాలుపోవు pālu-pōvu. v. n. To be divided or shared. విభక్తమగు. To be decided, నిర్ణీతమగు. ఒకరిని పాలుబోక ఆ పనిని అట్టె పడవేసిపెట్టినారు no one undertook the work, so it was left undone. అది యెటు వ్రాయడానకు పాలుపోక విడిచినాను unable to decide how to write the passage. I omitted it. పాలుభోగగ్రామము pālu-bhōga-grā-mamu. n. A village wherein each field is held as one man's separate property.

(p. 1074) rādhdhāntamu rāddhāntamu. [Skt.] n. An axiom, demonstrated truth; a proved and established fact. ప్రకటముగా నిర్ణయించడము, సిద్ధాంతము. Colloquially, an oft-repeated saying, a truism. L. x. 36.

(p. 1162) vāstuvu vāstuvu. [Skt.] n. The site of a house; a house, a habitation, గృహము నకునిర్ణయింపడగినభూమి, గృహము. వాస్తవ్యము vāstavyamu. adj. Fit to dwell in, వసింపదగిన. వాస్తవ్యుడు vāstavyuḍu. n. To order, command, ordain, prescribe, allot, adjudge, assign. ఆజ్ఞాపించు, నిర్ణయించు, ఏర్పాటుచేయు, కట్టడచేయు. వానికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము విధించినారు they appointed him a penance. ఈ శీక్ష విధింపబడినది this punishment was awarded. యాభైరూపాయలు అపరాధము (లేక, జులమానా) విధించినారు they sentenced him to pay a fine of Rs. 50. విధ్యుక్తము vidh-yuktamu. adj. Prescribed, legal, యథావిధియైన. విధ్యుక్తముగా vidh-yuktamu-gā. adv. Legally, in proper form or manner, యథావిధిగా.
