To be gratified, satiated, wreaked (as passion;) to be assuaged or allayed, to go off. ముగియు, చిక్కబడు. తనివితీర to the full; so as to satisfy one's desires. తీరలేదు it came to nothing, it was ineffectual. కోరికతీసి having gained his end. ఇది నాచేత తీరదు this is out of my power. నాకు తీరీతీరక ఉన్నది I am hardly at leisure. తీరిపోవు to die. To be practicable, or possible. అక్కడికి రాతీరదు I cannot come there, I have not leisure to come. రాకుంటే తీరదు (you) must positively come. వెళ్లక తీరదు I cannot help going. తీరినగుండెగా నున్నాడు he is quite hackneyed. తీరా tirā. (Root in A of తీరు, with the intensive affix ఆ) adv. Ultimately, at last; fairly; just, merely, in short, simply. తీరా మధ్యాహ్నమయ్యేటప్పటికి when it was high noon. ఆ గోడ తీటా పడ్డది the wall actually fell down. తూరా పండుకొనేటప్పటికి when he was fairly asleep. ఆ సంగతి తీరా బయటపడేటప్పటికి when the matter at last became known. తీరా చెల్లించెను he paid it in full. తీరిక or తీరికె tīrika. n. The ryot's share of the crop, ఉభయరాశి అంబారములో కాపునకు చేరే వర్తనధాన్యము. 'కష్టపడి పైరుచేసే సంసారి, ముద్రపిండి, వినాయకునిచాట, గుగ్గిళ్లగంప, పాలుబాన, రాశి అడుగు, ఇవి పుచ్చుకొని,' Miscell. iii. 430. పాలాడు pāl-āḍu. v. a. To divide into shares. To cut, to sever, to separate, ఖండించు. పాలారుచు or పాలార్చు pālā-ruṭsu. (పాలు+అరుచు.) v. a. To disregard, to neglect, ఉపేక్షించు. భాగ. iii. పాలుచేయు pālu-chēyu. v. a. To undertake, to enter upon, to share, to engage in. పూనుకొను, పైనవేసికొను. To be subject to, స్వాధీనమగు. 'వివిధచేష్టలకుంబాలుపడి.' B. X. §. 30. పాలుపుచ్చు or పాలుపెట్టు pālu-puṭsṭsu. v. a. To deduct or subtract: to divide or separate, విభాగించు. To decide or settle, నిర్ణయించు. వేదనపాలుకాలేను I cannot endure being a prey to grief. పాలుగలవాడు a co-heir, a cousin, దాయాదివాడు. 'పాలుగలవాడు మన కొకజాలియిడక, తానతారసానకు వచ్చెన్.' A. iii. 39. పాలుపోవు pālu-pōvu. v. n. To be divided or shared. విభక్తమగు. To be decided, నిర్ణీతమగు. ఒకరిని పాలుబోక ఆ పనిని అట్టె పడవేసిపెట్టినారు no one undertook the work, so it was left undone. అది యెటు వ్రాయడానకు పాలుపోక విడిచినాను unable to decide how to write the passage. I omitted it. పాలుభోగగ్రామము pālu-bhōga-grā-mamu. n. A village wherein each field is held as one man's separate property.

(p. 1074) rādhdhāntamu rāddhāntamu. [Skt.] n. An axiom, demonstrated truth; a proved and established fact. ప్రకటముగా నిర్ణయించడము, సిద్ధాంతము. Colloquially, an oft-repeated saying, a truism. L. x. 36.

Brahma, God. విధిలేక వెళ్లినాను having no alternative I went there పదిదినములు నీవు ఇక్కడ ఉండక విధిలేదు there is no alternative, you must remain here for ten days, నావిధినేముందును this is my fate, what can I say? విధవశమున దొరికినది, లేక, చిచక్కినది it was found by chance. యథావిధిగా నడిచినది it was done according to rule. విధించు vidhinṭsu. v. a. To order, command, ordain, prescribe, allot, adjudge, assign. ఆజ్ఞాపించు, నిర్ణయించు, ఏర్పాటుచేయు, కట్టడచేయు. వానికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము విధించినారు they appointed him a penance. ఈ శీక్ష విధింపబడినది this punishment was awarded. యాభైరూపాయలు అపరాధము (లేక, జులమానా) విధించినారు they sentenced him to pay a fine of Rs. 50. విధ్యుక్తము vidh-yuktamu. adj. Prescribed, legal, యథావిధియైన. విధ్యుక్తముగా vidh-yuktamu-gā. adv. Legally, in proper form or manner, యథావిధిగా.

(p. 1270) saṅkētamu sankētamu. [Skt.] n. An appointment, agreement, compact, engagement, ఏర్పాటు, ఒడబాటు, నిష్కర్ష, నిర్ణయము. A provision, a matter or point previously arranged. A sign or signal, a token or intimation, generally without words; a nod, wink, beck, indicative gesture, గురుతు, సంజ్ఞ. A name, పేరు. A place of assignation, a rendezvous, ముందుగా మాట్లాడి నిష్కర్షచేసికొన్న స్థలము. A. v. 135. 'సంకేతంబులనుండక.' Swa. iii. 45. adj. Appointed, fixed, ordained, stipulated, contracted for, agreed upon. నిర్ణీతమైన, నిష్కర్షచేయబడిన, ఏర్పరచుకోబడిన. సంకేతనామము a technical name, a name agreed upon but different from the real name. సంకేతపదము a technica l word, a technicality. సంకేతస్థలము or సంకేతస్థానము a place of rendezvous, a place of assignation. నిర్ణయించుకొన్న చోటు. సంకేతించు sankētinṭsu. v. a. To appoint, assign, fix, contract for, agree upon, నిష్కర్షచేయు, నిర్ణయించు, ఏర్పాటుచేయు. To give a name to, పేరుపెట్టు. 'వెరవకసంకేతించిన తెరగున నయ్యెడకునరుగుదెంచు.' M. IV. ii. 282. సంకేతితము sankētitamu. adj. Appointed, fixed, ordained, stipulated, contracted for, agreed upon, నిష్కర్షచేయబడిన, నిర్ణయించబడిన, ఏర్పరుచుకొన బడిన.
