So, thus. అట్లా చెప్పినాడు he said so. అట్లా ఉన్నది it is so. అట్లా పో go there. ఇట్లా రా come here. ఇట్లాగంటి aṭlāgaṇti. [Tel.] adj. Such. అలాగంటి, అలాటి. అట్లాగా or అలాగా. Is it so? అట్లాగు aṭlāgu. [Tel. from అట్లు+లాగు.] adv. Thus, so. అట్లాగే just so, yes, very well, అలాగు. అట్లాటి aṭlāti. [Tel.] adj. Such, like this, like that అలాగంటి. అట్లేని if so.

A bone. ఎముక. అస్థిగతము in the bones, అస్థిగతజ్వరము or అస్థిజ్వరము slow fever, an internal fever. అస్థినిక్షేపము the rite of depositing the bones of the dead at a holy place. అస్థిపంజరము a skeleton, lit. a cage of bones. అస్థిభంగము fracture of the bones. అస్థిసంచయనము collecting the bones after the burning of a corpse. అస్థిసారము marrow.

The daughter of the king of Pānchāla; a title of Draupadi, the wife of the five Pāndu princes. ద్రౌపది. పాంచాలిక pānchālika. n. A doll or puppet, an image carved on pillars, &c. బొమ్మ, నరమృగాదిరూపము. పాంచాలుడు pānchāluḍu. n. A member of any one of the five castes of artificers, viz., the carpenters, weavers, barbers, washermen, painters. వడ్లవాడు, సాలెవాడు, మంగలవాడు, చాకలవాడు, ముచ్చివాడు, ఈ అయిదు జాతులందు దేనిలోనైనను చేరినవాడు.

Friendship, partnership, holding in common. స్నేహము, సహవాసము, విశ్వాసము, ఉమ్మడి, అవిభక్తిత. పోరునష్టి, పొత్తులాభము (proverb) quarrelling is a loss, friendship is a gain. పొత్తునగుడుచు to eat together as messmates, బిగిసిగాతిను. వీధులు అందరికిపొత్తు the streets are free or common to all men. ఆ సరుకులు పొత్తున కొన్నారు they bought the goods between them, or as common stock. ఆ పని పొత్తులుపోక పడవేసిపెట్టినారు the work is left undone because they could not settle which of them should do it, ఆ పని నీదంటే నీదని పడవేసిపెట్టినారు. 'నృపుపొత్తుబాముపొత్తుంగపటుండగు మిత్రుపొత్తుగడుసరిపొత్తుం, విపరీత భార్య పొత్తుం నెపమిది నిడువంగవలయు.' Sumati. 129. 'ఇట్టి అవమానపుపొత్తు మనంగ వచ్చునే.' M. IV. iii. 33. పొత్తులవాడు he in whom both parties have an equal right or interest. ఇద్దరికి సమమైనవాడు. 'ఏనుపొత్తులవాడనై యిరువురకును.' ib. XII. v. 257. adj. Friendly, united, associated. స్నేహితము, సంగతము. పొత్తుకాడు pottu-kāḍu. n. A friend, స్నేహితుడు. పొత్తుకత్తె pottu-katte. n. A female friend. స్నేహితురాలు. పొత్తుగుడుచు pottu-guḍuṭsu. v. n. To avail or come to good. పనికివచ్చు.' సత్యములు పొత్తుగుడుచునా సున్నుతాంగి భళిర సత్యములానలైనచ్చునీకు.' Ila. iv. 21. టీ సత్యములు పొత్తుగుడుచునా, బాసలు కలిసివచ్చునా. పొత్తుగుడుపు pottu-guḍupu. n. Eating together as messmates. పంజ్క్తిభోజనము. పొత్తుచేయు pottu-chēyu. v. n. To make friends with, to cultivate friendship, to associate with, స్నేహము చేయు. పొత్తువు pottuvu. n. An epithet of Sarasvati, సరస్వతి.

(p. 912) bōnu bōnu. [Tel.] n. A trap. దుష్టమృగములను పట్టుకొను కపటయంత్రము. A cage, పెంపుడు మృగముల నుంచుటకైవపంజరము. 'కత్తులబోను కాపురము. కామిని నీతలపోప్పదీయెడన్.' Chenna. iv. 279. బోనుపొయ్యి bōnu-poyyi. n. A portable oven shaped like a bowl.

(p. 912) bōru bōru. [Tel.] adj. Great, large. బోరుతలుపులు or బోర్తలుపులు large doors, పెద్దకవాటములు. 'వారలుతమ తమవాకిటి, బోరుతలుపులెట్టి సమయములదెరవకతా, రారసిపదిలముసేయుచు, వారూఢస్థితివహించిరా సౌధములోన్.' KP. vi. 130. n. A rush or downpour, as of heavy rain, వానకురియుటయందగు ధ్వన్యనుకరణము. బోరున, బోరన, భోరున or భోరన bōruna. adv. Quickly, rushingly, శీఘ్రముగా. Much, grandly, greatly, heavily (as rain.) వాన జోరున కురిసినది it rained heavily. బోరునిఏడ్బినది she wept bitterly. 'మనుజేశ్వరులెల్లనుబోరన దమయంతీ స్వయంవరమునకు నొప్పంజనుదెంచిరి.' M. III. ii. 28. బోరుకలగు, బోరుకలుగు or బోరుకల్గు bōru-kalugu. v. n. To sound loud, మ్రోగు, ధ్వనించు బోరుకొను bōru-konu. v. n. To resound, sound aloud. 'భేరిమొదలగువాద్యముల్ బోరుకొనగ.'
