(p. 697) paṭṭika paṭṭika. [Skt.] n. A plate of metal, a board, a frame, the pieces of wood across a door. ఫలకము, పలక, చట్టము, రేకు, గందపట్టె. An anvil, కమ్మరివాని దాగలి. 'లలాటపట్టికలబెట్టిన పట్టెవర్థనంబులు.' Suca. ii. 19. పట్టికామంచము Same as పట్టెమంచము.

(p. 699) paṭṭe or పట్టియ paṭṭe. [Tel.] n. A spar of wood. పలక. A piece of wood that forms the frame of a cot. Hair left on the head at the time of tonsure. A fold in a turban or dress. A tape. A stripe or streak of paint, రేఖ. A facet or side of a diamond, పక్క. A gold hand or fillet worn on the forehead, at the time of one's coronation, పట్టము. Ceiling, మిద్దె యిండ్లమీద పరిచే మ్రాను మొదలగునది. A brush, కుంచె. తాటిపట్టె a palmyra rafter. నవారు పట్టె a broad tape. పట్టెమంచము a cot the bottom of which is woven with broad tape. పట్టెతీయు to use the harrow. నున్నపుపట్టె a streak of chunam. పట్టెలు తీర్చినకెంపు a ruby cut into facets. ద్వార బంధువుపట్టె the lintel or top of a door. టంగుపట్టె a girth. యోగపట్టె a hermit's girdle. ఒకపట్టెనేల a piece of land. నీరుపారేపట్టె a canal or water course. పట్టెమారుపు check-colors in a cloth. వస్త్రములోని ఒకవిధమైన చిత్రవర్ణము. పట్టె వర్ధనము paṭṭe-vardhanamu. n. A broad caste-mark worn in the forehead, వెడల్పుగా నుండుబొట్టు.

(p. 1109) lēpu lēpu. [Tel. from లేచు.] v. a. To cause to rise, to raise, లేవజేయు. To rouse, awake, stir up. నిద్రలేపు to arouse from sleep దుమ్ములేపు to raise dust. అడ్డముగా ఒకగోడ లేపినాడు he raised a wall across. వాణ్ని ఆ యింటిలోనుండి లేపు turn him out of the house. లేపించు lēpinṭsu. v. a. To remove, to turn out, వెళ్లగొట్టు, నివృత్తిచేయు. వారిని ఆ యింటిలోనుంచి లేపించినాడు he turned them out of the house. లేపు. n. A bed. మెత్త, పరుపు. 'చిల్కలకోళ్లనందమౌ, సకినెల పట్టెమంచమున చాయనగామతివాసుపైదురం, గికమొకమాలులేపున నొగింశయనించెమనోభవన్యధన్.' H. i. 73. A mane, ౛ూలు.

(p. 1287) sakina , సకినె or సగిన sakina. [from Skt. శకునము.] n. An artificial bird, the figure of a bird. కృత్రిమపక్షి, కిర్రుబిళ్ల. A doll, బొమ్మ. A chirping noise, కీచుకీచుమనుధ్వని. 'తెలిముత్తియంపుబల్, సకిసెలకూకలం గిలకిలన్నగు మోహన శయ్యనున్నెడన్.' Vasu. vi. 111. టీ సకల =కీచుబిళ్ల 'సకినలతలగడల్ చప్పుడైననుతోనకవకివల్ గొణుగుపావురపుజోళ్లు.' N. ix. 482. టీ సకినెలతలగడలు, ఒత్తితే కుంఞ్ కుంఞ్ అనే పీకబిళ్లలుంచిన దిండ్లలు. సకినల మంచము sakinala-manṭsamu. n. A bedding formed on a frame of wood, having orifices covered with perforated brass buttons that make a whistling or squeaking sound, గిలకలపట్టెమంచము. కోళ్లు బొమ్మలుగా చేసిన మంచము. 'ఈగ వ్రాలిన నందంద యెలుగులొసగునట్టి, సకిలమంచములు.' Swa. vi. 3. 'పచ్చలరచించిన చిల్కల కోళ్లనందమౌసకి నేలపట్టెమంచమున.' H. i. 73. సకినము sakinamu. [from Skt. శకునము.] n.
