(p. 45) adḥkariñcu adhah-karinṭsu. [Skt.] v. a. To treat with disrespect. తక్కువపరుచు; క్రిందుపరుచు. అధఃకారము n. The act of looking down on one. హీనపరచడము. అధఃకారి adhakāri. [Skt.] n. He who defies or outrivals. తక్కువపరిచేవాడు.

(p. 1188) viliya or విలియా viliya. [H.] n. Arrangement, order, distribution, classification. విలియావేయు to compose, arrange in order, assign. ఈ సొమ్మును గురించి నన్ను అతనికి విలియావేసినారు they referred me to him for payment. విలియావారి or విలేవారీ arranging according to different beads, బాపతువారిగా ఏర్పరచడము.

(p. 1193) viśvamu viṣvamu. n. The universe or world, లోకము, జగత్తు. adj. All, universal, entire. సర్వమైన, సమస్తమైన. విశ్వంభర viṣvam-bhara. n. The earth. భూమి. విశ్వంభరుడు viṣvam-bharuḍu. n. An epithet of Vishnu or Indra. విష్ణువు, ఇంద్రుడు. విశ్వకర్మ or విశ్వకర్ముడు viṣva-karma. n. The name of the artist of the gods, corresponding to Vulcan. దేవతలవడ్లవాడు, దేవతలశిల్పి. విశ్వకేతువు viṣva-kētuvu. n. An epithet of Aniruddha. విశ్వజనీనము viṣva-janīnamụ. adj. Agreeable to all men. విశ్వతోముఖము viṣatō-mukhamu. n. An epithet of Brahma. బ్రహ్మము. adj. All pervading, అంతట వ్యాపించిన. విశ్వనాథుడు viṣva-nādhuḍu. n. The Lord of the Universe. A name of Siva, especially as worshipped at Benares, కాశీవిశ్వేశ్వరుడు విశ్వభేషజము viṣva-bhēshajamu. n. Dry ginger, శుంఠి. విశ్వరూపము viṣva-rūpamu. adj. Existing in all forms, multiform. నానారూపములుగల. n. Multiformity.నానారూపము. 'విబుధేంద్రశైలంబు విశ్వరూపము జూపెనన నొప్పుకాంచనస్యందనములు.' N. v. 17. విశ్వరూపదర్శనము manifestation or display of one's one real form or hidden majesty, నిజస్వరూపమును అగుపరచడము. విశ్వరూపుడు viṣva-rūpuḍu. n. He who exists in all forms; a name of Vishnu. విష్ణువు. 'విశ్వరూపునకు వినతులుసేయుచు.' H. iv. 297. విశ్వసృజుడు, విశ్వాత్మ or విశ్వాత్ముడు viṣva-srijuḍu. n. Brahma, the creator, బ్రహ్మ. విశ్వామిత్రుడు viṣv-āmitruḍu. n. The name of a certain sage, the son of Gādhi. గాథిసుతుడు. విశ్వామిత్రము viṣv-āmitrāmu. adj. Worthy of Visvāmitra: (that is) fabricated, fictitious, artificial, కల్పితమైన, కృత్రిమమైన. విశ్వామిత్రమైనపత్రము a fabricated bond, a Machiavelian trick. తప్పుసృష్టిచేయబడిన. n. A deed worthy of Visvāmitra, that is, a trick, fiction, fabrication. Machiavelianism. మోసము, కృత్రిమము, కల్పన. విశ్వామిత్రసృష్టి viṣvā-mitra-srishṭi. n. (p. 1364) stambhamu stambhamu. [Skt.] n. A pillar, a post, a stalf, a stem, trunk, కంబము, Stupidity, stupefaction. Stoppage or suppression of any sense or power caused by magical incantations or drugs, &c. ఊరకుండుట, మ్రామపాటు, నిలుపడము. అరటిస్తంభము the stem of a plantain tree. స్తంభనము stambhanamu. n. Stopping, obstruction, hindrance. నిలుపడము, ఆటంక పరచడము. అగ్నిస్థంభనము restraining the power of fire by magical means జలన్తంభనము continuing along while under water without inconvenience. వాయుస్థంభనము raising the body in the air and maintaining it in such a position without support. భూతస్థంభనము the laying of ghosts, &c. మృగస్తంభనము restraining wild beasts. ఖడ్గస్థంభనము preventing a sword from doing injury. గతిస్తంభనము stoppage, preventing a man from moving. స్తంభించు stam-bhinṭsu. v. n. To stop, to become motionless, stupefied or insensible, నిలిచిపోవు, మ్రానుపడు. ఈ మాటవిని స్థంభించి పోయినాడు on hearing this he stood stock-still. స్తంభించు or స్తంభింపజేయు stambhinṭsu. v. a. To strike dead, depriev of the power of moving, make motionless. కదలకుండా నిలిచేటట్టు చేయు, మ్రానుపడజేయు.

(p. 1367) sthāpiñcu sthāpinṭsu. [Skt.] v. a. To set up, erect, found, నిలుపు. To establish, confirm, ప్రతిష్ఠచేయు, ఏర్పరచు, నిర్ధారణచేయు. స్థాపితము sthāpitamu. adj. Set up, erected. నిలుపబడిన. Fixed, settled, founded, established. ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన, స్థిరము చేయబడ్డ, ఏర్పరచబడిన, నాటబడిన, నిర్ధారణ చేయబడిన స్థాపన or స్థాపనము sthāpana. n. Fixing, erecting, placing, establishing, founding, setting up. స్థాపించుట, ప్రతిష్ఠ చేయడము, నిలుపడము, ఏర్పరచడము, నాటడము. భూస్థాపనము burial.
