(p. 182) ekkuva ekkuva. [Tel.] n. Excess, greatness, eminence. Particularity, peculairity. ఆధిక్యము, విశేషము. అతని దగ్గిర పుస్తకాలు ఎక్కువగా లేవు he has not many books. ఎక్కువ ekkuva. adj. Great, peculiar, remarkable, singular. అధికము. ఎక్కువ పాతదికాదు it is not very old. ఎక్కువళ్రమకాదు it is no great trouble. ఎక్కువతక్కువ ekkuva-takkuva. n. More or less, uneveness, irregularity, ups and downs. కొంచెము ఎక్కువతక్కువగా నూరు రూపాయలు about 100 Rupees. మాలో నేదైనా యెక్కువ తక్కువ ఉంటే తమరు క్షమించవలెను please to excuse all errors.

(p. 418) ciramu chiramu. [Skt.] adj. Long (as regards time.) ఆలస్యము, కాలవిలంబము. చిరకాలము a long while. చిరాయువు long life. చిరంజీవి or చిరజీవి chiran-jīvi. n. What is long lived: (particularly) a crow. కాకి. adj. Long lived. చిరకాలము జీవించువాడు. This is a term of affection, implying a blessing, often used to inferiors, children, younger brothers or other relations. చిరంజీవులైన మాసీతారామయ్య my brother Sītāräma; చిరంజీవులైన కొల్లా వెంకన్నభార్య గతించిన సంగతి regarding the death of our dear cousin's wife. చిరంతనము or చిరత్నము chirantanamu. adj.
