(p. 652) nidhānamu nidhānamu. [Skt.] n. A treasure, a hoard or fund, a treasury. నిక్షేపము, దాచుకొన్నది, పాతర, పాతిపెట్టుకొన్నది.

(p. 737) pātukonu pātu-konu. v. n. To become firm. పాతిపెట్టు or పాతివేయు pāti-peṭṭu. v. a. To bury. To plant, to fix. ఒక గుంజను పాతిపెట్టినారు they set up a post. ఆ మొక్కలను పాతిపెట్టినాను I planted those plants.

(p. 953) mannu or మను mannu. [Tel.] n. Earth, mud, soil, dirt. మంటబెట్టు to inter or bury. పూడ్చు, పాతిపెట్టు. వానికి మన్నుమిన్నుకానరాలేదు he is too proud to care for anything in heaven or on earth. మన్నుదిండి, మనుదిండి or మన్దిండి manu-dinḍi. n. Lit. that which feeds on earth, i .e., a kind of snake. మన్నురేడు mannu-rēḍu. n. A king. భూపతి. మన్నులపాము mannula-pāmu. n. A harmless species of serpent, extremely thick. Russell on Snakes, Vol. ii. (p. 1028) mēḍi mēḍi. [Tel.] n. A plough staff, or plough tail. నాగటిదుంప వెనుక నిలిపినకొయ్య. మేడితలకిందుగాపాతు or పాతిపెట్టు to bury a plough staff upside down as a signal (దురాయి) to warn people that the land is under ban. మేడికర్ర mēḍi-karra. n. The pole or shaft of a plough. మేడికోరు or మేడిపాలు the farmer's share of the crop. మేడితాడు mēḍi-tāḍu. n. The plough bands. మేడితోక or మేడిసోగ mēḍi-tōka. n. The plough tail. మేడిసీల or మేడిచీల the nail or pin which fastens the plough to the handle.
