Various species of పాములు are called కంపునాగము, చింత N. దుంప N. పీత N. శంకు N. జొన్న N. కృష్ణ N. కోడె. N. adj. Large, పెద్ద. When used as the second part of compound, (సమాసము) it means Excellent. శ్రేష్ఠము. నాగకంకణుడు nāga-kankanuḍu. n. Siva who wears a 'bracelet of snakes.' నాగకేసరము nāga-kēsaramu. n.
