Bloom, grace, shapeliness, the pride of beauty. సౌందర్యగర్వము. ఒయ్యారపు మాటలు pretty language, bragging. వయస్సు తప్పినా ఒయ్యారము తప్పదు old as he is he has still a sweet tooth in his head. ఒయ్యారకాడు oyyāra-kāḍu. n. A fop, a beau. ఒయ్యారి oyyāri. adj. Blooming, graceful, shapely, pretty. ఒయ్యారిపిక్కలు pretty legs. ఒయ్యారి or ఒయ్యారకత్తె oyyāri. n. A beauty, a graceful woman. A coquette.

(p. 427) cekku chekku. [Tel.] v. a. To pare, to cut into slices. To engrave. (రత్నములను) పొదుగు. To make a pen. To set jewels. To tuck in, put in, insert, set. To dig slightly or scrape the surface. To cast up the earth, as a worm does. చెక్కుటద్దము chekku-ṭ-addamu. n. A mirror (అద్దము) set in a frame. (చెక్కినది.) చెక్కుడుపార chekkuḍu-pāra. n. A sort of spade for cutting turf. చెక్కొను chek-konu. v. n. (middle voice of చెక్కు.) To adjust, trim, set right. చెక్కించు chekkinṭsu. v. t. To thrust forward the breast, as a crowing cock does. చెక్కు n. The side, in general. The check. The rind or side of a fruit. Half a pack; being as much as is on each side of a bullock. వానికి చెక్కు చెమర్చినది he was quite exhausted. చెక్కులుపిక్కలు pranks, roguery. చెక్కుచెదరక unharmed, untouched, intact. అది చెక్కు చెదరకుండనున్నది it is in excellent order.

(p. 639) navulu , నౌలు or నమలు navulu. v. a. To chew. To shoot or throb. పిక్కలు నవులుచున్నవి the calves of my legs ache.

(p. 866) badda or బ్రద్ద badda. [Tel.] n. A piece, bit, fragment, slice, a flat thin bit, split wood. చీలిక, తునక. దూదేకులబద్ద a cotton beater's show. ఈ భాష మహాకష్టమని బద్దలుకట్టుతారు they figure this language as very difficult. బద్దలుకట్టి మాట్లాడినాడు he arranged his arguments to much advantage. కావటిబద్ద the wooden part of a yoke (కావడి.) See బద్దె. బద్ద or బ్రద్ద adj. Lean, lank. పలచని. 'బద్దపిక్కలనంటిబలసిన తొడలు.' HD. ii. 1087. 'పాచిపట్టినపండ్లు బద్దచేతులును.' BD. iii. 558. బద్దలగు badda-l-agu. v. n. To break in pieces, to go to shivers, to crack.
