(p. 639) nasyamu nasyamu. [from Skt. నాసిక.] n. Snuff; any powder, or liquid which physicians prescribe to be snuffed up into the nose. నస్యముపిడుచు to express the juice of any herb into the nose. నస్యము వేయు to use such a medicine.

(p. 751) piṇḍu pinḍu. [Tel.] v. a. To press out, squeeze, wring. రసము పిడుచు. To milk. పాలుపితుకు. అతడు పిండినపాలు పిండినట్టే మాట్లాడినాడు he is no hypocrite, he speaks the simple truth.

(p. 753) piḍaka or పిడుక piḍaka. [Tel. from పిడుచు.] n. A cake of cowdung dried for fuel. కత్తిపిడక a toddyman's case, containing his knife, &c. పిడకమొసలి Same as శింశుమారము (q. v.)

(p. 753) piḍaca or పిడుచ piḍaṭsa. [Tel. from పిడుచు.] n. A handful; as much as can be clutched. పిడచపాత a besom or bit of cloth used in smearing, అలుకుచుట్ట.

(p. 754) piḍucu piḍuṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To wring, squeeze, press. రసములోనగువానిని పిండు.
