(p. 943) maṭṭe or మట్టియ maṭṭe. [Tel.] n. A ring worn on the toe. కాలివేలియందు పెట్టేటిది. చెప్పుమట్టె a shoe-heel, చెప్పుమడిమ. adj. Dappled. బట్టచారలుగల. మట్టెఆవు a dappled cow, బట్టావు. H. ii. 88.

(p. 1045) mōḍi mōḍi. [Tel.] n. The act of picking up a thing (kept at one's feet) by bending back like an acrobat, గణికాదులు మొగ్గవాలి కాలికిసమీపమందుంచిన వస్తువు నెత్తుట. Way, manner, air, style, విధము, రీతి. A whim, pettishness, crossness, ill humour, pique, malice, బింకము. Handwriting, దస్తూరి, వ్రాలు, వ్రాతయొక్క వైఖరి. రాజమోడి royal style, pomp, grandeur. A kind of craft, enchantment, connected with the concealment of a jewel or money, మంత్రగాడు పంతమువేసికొనిపెట్టేటిది. మోడివేయు to draw magic lines. మోడితీయు to break such a spell. మోడిఅక్షరములు or గొలుసుకట్టు a running hand.
