(p. 211) onaru onaru. [Tel.] v. i. To happen, chance, be. To become, suit, or agree. To be pretty, proper or agreeable. To appertain or belong to, to be attached to. కలుగు, పొసగు, సరిపడు, ఒప్పు. ఒనరు n. Convenience, facility, వీలు, వాటము, పొందిక. Elegance, gracefulness ఇంపు. ఆ దుర్గములో ఒనరులు చూచి లగ్గలెక్కినారు they spied out the convenient places in that fort or hill and then escaladed it. ఒనరగా onara-gā. adv. Elegantly, becomingly, fitly. ఒనరజేయు onara-jēyu. v. a. To grace or adorn. To fit or accommodate పొసగజేయు. ఒనరుపడు onaru-paḍu. v. i. To agree with పొందుపడు. ఒనరించు or ఒనరుచు or ఒనర్చు onarinṭsu. v. t. To make, form, do, effect, perform. చేయు. To celebrate (as a sacrifice.) To compose or frame, to write (a book). బాగొనరించు to do good, or benefit. ఎగ్గొనరించు to do harm, to injure. నాదమొనర్చి uttering a sound. ఊడిగము లొనరించి having served. యుక్తములగనొనర్తువు thou shalt render them acceptable. యుద్ధమొనర్చు to wage war.నగుబారొనరించును it will make them laugh.

(p. 801) pondu or ఒందు pondu. [Tel.] v. n. To wink, (కన్ను) వాలు. To gain, obtain, get, acquire. To reach, attain to. To have, enjoy. To suffer, experience, meet with joy, grief or death, &c. ప్రాపించు. వానిని లక్ష్మిపొందినది good luck has be fallen him. అవమానమును పొందినాడు he incurred disgrace. సంతోషమును పొందినాడు he was pleased. నష్టమును పొందినాడు he incurred loss. విఘ్నమొందక meeting with no obstacle or cheek. నరకమును పొందినాడు he fell into hell. కన్నుపొందు to sleep. 'ఆ కడుపు నిండగుడువ గానమిరేయెల్ల, గన్నుపొందకున్న కరముడస్సి, యున్నవాడనాకు.' M. I. vi. 322. కన్నుపొందకున్న, అనగా నిద్రలేకుండా ఉండడముచేత. Also, to have intercourse with. కలయు. n. Fitness. suitability, agreement. పొందిక intercourse, friendship, స్నేహము. Joining, union, సంధి. The act of obtaining a thing ప్రాప్తి. Sameness, want of difference, అభేదము. Agreeableness, అనుకూల్యము. adj. Friendly, స్నేహితుడు. 'రాలపొందెరింగి రాలగూర్చినభంగిలోను పొందెరింగిలోనుపరచి.' Vēma. 637. పొందుకాడు ponḍu-kāḍu. n. A friend, స్నేహితుడు. పొందుకొను pondu-konu. v. n. To be fixed or established, నెలకొను. పొందుపడు pondu-paḍu. v. n. To be agreeable or fit, సరిపడు, అనుకూలించు. పొందుపాటు ponda-pāṭu. n. Convenience, suitability, aid, help. వానికి ఆ రూకలు పొందుపాటు కాలేదు he could not get the money. పొందుపాటుచేయు to arrange, అనుకూలముచేయు. పొందించు pondinṭsu. To cause to obtain, get, or experience. నన్ను ఈ శ్రమ పొందించినారు they caused me this trouble. 'మగువత నంబునజగముల తగులము బొందింప గొంతదడవెముకుందా.' B. viii. 446. పొందిక pondika. n., Fitness, agreement, aptness. ఇమిడిక. Intercourse, సహవాసము, కలయిక. 'సీతాకాంతముని స్త్రీల పొందిక లుమరగి.' R. v. 59.

(p. 810) ponaru or ఒనరు ponaru. [Tel.] v. n. To happen, occur, అగు, పొసగు, కలుగు, సంభవించు. 'చ అనఘయపూర్వ భవదాగమునంబు దలంపనొక్కచో, బొనరినకయ్యమిప్పుడెగ బోయ గవచ్చినయట్లుతోచె.' T. iv. 226. n. Happening, కలుగుట. Suitability, harmony, agreement, పొందిక. Pleasantness, ఇంపు. పొనరు ponar-āru. v. n. To be fine or agreeable, ఒప్పు. పొనరుపడు ponaru-paḍu. v. n. To be agreeable, to suit, పొందుపడు. పొనరుచు or పొనర్చు ponaruṭsu. v. a. To cause to be done, to accomplish, కావించు. To cause to happen, పొసగించు. To fabricate, కల్పించు. (p. 815) posagu posagu. [Tel.] v. n. To agree, fit, suit, be consistent with. To happen, take place, occur, befal. ఒనగూడు, ఒప్పు, పొందుపడు, చక్కబడు, ఇముడు, సరిపడు, అనుకూలించు. To be got, obtained. సంభవించు, దొరకు, లభించు. వీరికి వారికి పొసగదు they do not agree, they are on bad terms. వానికేమి పొసగినది what happened to him? ఈ కర్మము నీకెట్లు పొసగినది how did you get into this trouble? 'భోజనవేళల పొసగునే మాట,' Pal. 44. 'పరసమినుము సోకిబంగారమైనట్లు, కప్పురంబుజ్యోతిగలసినట్లు, పుష్పమందుతావి పొస గినట్లగుముక్తి.' Vēma. i. 81. పొసగ posaga. adv. Duty, fitly. 'చంపదగిన యట్టి శత్రుడుతనచేత, జిక్కెనేనికీడుసేయ రాదు, పొసగమేలుచేసి పొమ్మనుటేచావు.' Vēma. i. 23. పొసగించు posaginṭsu. v. a. To cause to agree or fit. To bring to terms, to persuade. పొసగుడు posagudu. n. Convenience, aid, help, అనుకూల్యము. Happening, ప్రాప్తమగుట.
