(p. 816) pōgu pōgu. [Tel.] n. A thread, a string. తంతువు, దారము. A heap, a crowd, an assembly. ప్రోగు, కుప్ప, సమూహము. An ear-ring. పురుష కర్నాభరణము. ముక్కుపోగు a nose-ring. కుట్టుపోగు a wire placed in the ear preparatory to an ear-ring. పోగుపోయు or పోగుతీయు to darn. పోగుత్రాడు pōgu-trāḍu. n. A kind of net composed of lines or cords laid by huntsman as a snare. 'పండినచేలకునరాహ పంఙ్త్కులు చొరరా, కుండ న్దెలనిచామరఖండంబులు పోగుద్రాళ్లు గట్టుదురెరుకుల్.' Kālahas. iii. 11. పోగుచేయు pōgu-chēyu. v. a. To collect, to accumulate, to put together. పోగువారు pōgu-vāru. (పోగు+పారు.) v. n. To surround with a cord. To surround, ఆవరించు.

(p. 1272) saṅgrahamu san-grahamu. [Skt.] n. Seizing, grasping, obtaining, receiving, earning, acquisition, స్వీకారము, స్వీకరించడము, సంపాదించడము. Collecting, amassing, కూడబెట్టడము. పోగుచేయడము. A compilation, abridgment, compendium, సంక్షీప్తగ్రంథము. One verse says కర్తవ్యం ధర్మసంగ్రహం. adj. Short, brief. సంక్షేపమైన. సంగ్రహించు san-grahinṭsu. v. a. To seize, grasp, snatch, obtain, acquire, earn, get, సంపాదించు. To abridge, compile, summarize, సంక్షేపించు, సంగ్రహించుకొని వెళ్లు to walk away with anything. లంకించుకొనిపోవు.

(p. 1273) sañcayamu san-chayamu. [Skt.] n. Heaping, collecting, gathering, కూడబెట్టుట. A heap, multitude, quantity or number. సమూహము, ప్రోగు. సంచయనము san-chayanamu. n. Collecting, gathering, collecting the ashes or bones of a burnt corpse, పోగుచేయడము, దహనముచేయబడిన శవముయొక్క ఎముకలను పోగుచేయడము.

(p. 1302) samāhāramu or సమాహరణము sam-āhāramu. [Skt.] n. An aggregation, collection, assemblage; contraction, abridgment. సంక్షేపము, చెదరినవి ఒకటిగా పోగుచేయుట.

(p. 1303) samuccayamu sam-uchechayamu. [Skt.] n. Connection, collocation, conjunction. A collection, assemblage; (gram.) a conjunction. చెదరినవాని నొకటిగా పోగుచేయుట, సమూహము, సముదాయము.

(p. 1395) hōli , హోళి or హోలిక hōli. [Manrati.] n. The pile (of wood, grass, &c., arranged to be kindled at the close of the Holi feast. కామునిపండుగ కడపటివాడు తగల బెట్టడమునకై పోగుచేయబడు గడ్డికంప మొదలయినవి. హోళపండుగ hōḷi-panḍuga. n. The Holi feast held about the beginning of March. వసంతోత్సవము, కామునిపండుగ.
