(p. 4) aṅgavradakṣiṇamu anga-pradakshiṇamu. [Skt.] n. Rolling the body like a log to the right for a distance or round a temple, as a religious vow or penance. ప్రార్థన చేసికొనువాడు గుడి మొదలగువాటికి ప్రదక్షిణముగా దొరలుట.

(p. 449) cuṭṭu ṭsuṭṭu. [Tel.] v. a. To go about, to go round. To roll, wrap up, to wind up, to encircle or clasp in an embrace. To hem in, surround, to overtake (as sin does). To draw a circle. To make small ciphers, thus: సున్నచుట్టు, క్రారావడిచుట్టు to write o or ; పాగాచుట్టు to tie a turban. చుట్టుకొను or చుట్టుపారు to surround, hem in, roll up. To turn, to go round. దోవచుట్టుకొని వేళ్లుచున్నది here the road makes a sweep. చుట్టు n. A turn, a round, a circuit, a circumference. A turn or bout: a time. A toe ring, worn by women కాలియుంగరము, తలచుట్టు a turban. గోరుచుట్టు a whitlow. ఎన్నిచుట్లు చెప్పేది how often am I to tell you? చుట్టు adj. & adv. Around, round about, out of the direct way. చుట్టలుగు, చుట్టువాలు or చుట్టుకైదువు ṭsuṭṭ-alugu. (చుట్టు+అలుగు.) n. The Discus of Vishnu చక్రమనే ఆయుధము. R. iii. 42. చుట్టిల్లు a round hut without posts or pillars: చుట్టివచ్చు to go round anything; ప్రదక్షిణముచేయు. To surround పరివేష్టించు. చుట్టుకొల్లారము, చుట్టుకొల్లారు or చుట్టుమాలె ṭsuṭṭu-kollāramu. n. (p. 832) pradakṣiṇamu pra-dakshiṇamu. [Skt.] n. Circumambulation. Paying homage (to a god, &c.) by solemnly walking round it with the right hand towards it. అప్రదక్షిణముగానుండే శంఖము a right hand shell (which is consdered a curiosity) being the Perinthium, the volutes of which turn (what is commonly called) the wrong way.

(p. 983) mikkili mikkili. [Tel.] n. Much, abundance, greatness. అధికము. విస్తారము. 'మిక్కిలియైన కీర్తి.' భార. అర. vi. adj. Great, much, vast, అధికము. Excellent, fine, best, శ్రేష్ఠము. మిక్కిలికన్ను an extra eye, అధికమైనకన్ను. 'క మిక్కిలిచేతులును వాని మిక్కిలికన్నున్.' భార. సభా. ii. Very, greatly, much, vastly, extremely, excessively, too much, more than. మిక్కిలి అవాస్తవమైన utterly false. మిక్కిలి రహస్యముగా very secretly. గోడలు మిక్కిలి పడిపోయినవి the walls are ruined. మిక్కిలివాడు mikkili-vāḍu. n. a great person, అధికుడు. 'పాండవుల్ మిక్కిలివారు.' భార. ద్రోణ. v. మిక్కిలు mikkilu. v. n. To exceed, excel, మీరు. అతిశయించు. 'క తలదలతో దాటించిన దలమీరున్ గాలుగాలదాటించిన మి క్కిలుగాలుగేలుసేతుల గులికినదనచేయిమీదగున్ వ్రేటుగొనన్' ఉ. హరి. vi. Also, to come from left to right, అప్రదక్షిణముగావచ్చు. (p. 1136) vala vala. [Tel. for వలను.] adj. Right, కుడి. వలచేయి or వలకేలు the right hand. 'అరుదుగావలచేతనక్షమాలికయు.' DR. Aran. 268. 'వలకేల్దలక్రింద జేర్చుకొని.' P. i. 256. వలకట్టు vala-kaṭṭu. (వలను+కట్టు.). a. To make a thing convenient, అనుకూలపరుచు వలకడ valakaḍa. (వలను+కడ.) n. The South side. దిక్షిణపుదిక్కు. వలగొను (వలను+కొను), వలచుట్టు (వలను+చుట్టు) or వలదిరుగు vala-gonu. v. n. (p. 1190) vivartanamu vi-vartanamu. [Skt.] n. Revolving, turning round, revolution, going round, circumambulating. కనీనికాచలన భేదము, పొరలడము, ప్రదక్షిణము, తిరగడము, చుట్టివచ్చుట, తిరిగివచ్చుట. వివర్తము vi-vartamu. n. Dancing, నృత్యము.

(p. 1360) sōmasūtramu sōma-sūtramu. [Skt.] n. A vessel with a spout. A basin with a spout and handle. The receptacle or pit on the outside of a temple to receive the water with which the idol has been bathed. ముక్కు చెయ్యి పిడిగల చిన్నపాత్ర, పానవట్టమునుండి నీళ్లుపోవుదారి, లింగాభిషేక జలముపోయి పడుతొట్టి. సోమసూత్ర ప్రదక్షిణము circumambulation around a temple with such turnings that the circumambulation shall be complete without the somasūtram (hole to receive the water.) having been crossed.
