(p. 837) prayōgamu pra-yōgamu. [Skt.] n. An application, use or employment, as of a weapon, tool, word, or a spell. Administration of a medicine, నడుపుట. A usage. In grammar, a voice. కర్తృ కర్మ క్రియల కూడిక. మహాబిల్వాదిప్రయోగము a prescription of Bilwa and other drugs. దీనికి కాళిదాస ప్రయోగమున్ణది Kalidasa has used this word. యక్షీణీప్రయోగముచేయు to bewitch or send a devil into (a person.) ఈ ఔషధప్రయోగముచేసినాడు he administered this medicine. విషప్రయోగముచేసి చంపినాడు he killed him by means of poison. బాణప్రయోగముచేసినాడు he used an arrow, i.e., discharged it. ప్రయోగించు pra-yōginṭsu. v. a. To use, practise, administer; use, as a weapon. ఉపయోగించు. ప్రయోజకుడు pra-yōjakuḍu. n. One who uses. The original instigator of any act. A clever man, a genius. కార్యమును నెరవేర్చువాడు. వాడు శుద్ధ అప్రయోజకుడు he is quite a useless person. ప్రయోజనము pra-yōjanamu. n. Use, advantage, profit. A thing to be kept or observed, as a holy day, or a feast పండుగ. An affair, business. కార్యము. A cause, motive. హేతువు. శుభప్రయోజనము a happy occasion (as a wedding.) రేపు మాయింట్లో కొంచెము ప్రయోజనము గనుక రావడానికి వల్లలేదు I cannot come to-morrow as there are some rites to be observed at home. అక్కడికి నీవుపోయినందుకు ఏమి ప్రయోజనము what is the use (good, or advantage) of your going there? ప్రయోజనప్రస్తుతములకు వారిని మేముపిలువడములేదు we do not invite them to parties. In Grammar, ప్రయోజ్యకర్త the indirect agent (in the instrumental case.) ప్రయోజకకర్త the direct agent (in the nominative case.)

(p. 842) prastutamu pra-stutamu. [Skt.] adj. Much praised, mentioned; present. adv. At present, just now. ప్రస్తుతము జరిగేపనియేమి what is going on at present? ప్రస్తుతపు కార్యము the present affair, the business in hand. ప్రస్తుతము దీన్ని తీసుకో take this for the present. ప్రస్తుతము or శుభప్రస్తుతము pra-stutamu. n. A festive rite. ప్రస్తుతి pra-stuti. n. Great applause or praise. మిక్కిలిస్తోత్రము. ప్రస్తుతించు pra-stutinṭsu. v. a. To praise or applaud greatly, మిక్కిలి స్తోత్రముచేయు.

A female companion or attendant. స్నేహితురాలు, చెలియ. A wife. భార్య. సహచరుడు saha-charuḍu. n. An attendant, companion, follower, compeer, mate. కూడ తిరుగువాడు, స్నేహితుడు. సహజ saha-ja. n. A sister. తోడబుట్టువు. సహజము saha-jamu. adj. Lit. Born with. Innate, inherent, natural, proper, true. స్వభావము, కూడబుట్టిన. సహజరేఫ the 'common' ర as distinguished from the obsolete ఱ. n. Nature, స్వభావము. Truth, propriety, justice, నిజము, న్యాయము. 'సభనుగూరుచుండి సహజంబుపలుకక పక్షపాతమాడుపాతకునకు.' Vema. 1990. సహజన్ముడు or సహజుడు saha-janmuḍu. n. A brother. తోడుబుట్టినవాడు. సహదేవిచెట్టు saha-dēvi-cheṭṭu. n. Tamarisc; a thorny plant growing in deserts, and fed upon by camels, Capparis aphylla. కరీరము, వెణుతురుచెట్టు, దేవగంధ. Eating together, dining at one table. కూడా భోజనముచేయడము. వారికిని మాకును సహపఙ్క్తిలేదు they and we do not eat together. సహపాఠి sahapāṭhi. n. (p. 1377) svādhīnamu sv-ādhīnamu. [Skt. స్వ+అధీనము.] n. Charge, trust, subjection, possession, power, control. వశము, అధికారము. వారు అతని స్వాధీనములో నున్నారు they are under his control. దాన్ని నీ స్వాధీనము చేస్తిని I gave it into your charge. వాని చెయ్యి వాని స్వాధీనము లోలేదు he cannot use his hand. తాను దానిని స్వాధీన పరచుకొన్నాడు he got it into his possession. ప్రస్తుతము స్వాధీనముకాని సొమ్ము money not available at present. ఆ పని తన స్వాధీనము చేసుకొన్న తరువాత after he undertook the affair or took it into his own hands. స్వాధీనపతిక sv-ādhīna-pati-ka. n. A self-willed woman, one who rules her husband. చెప్పినట్లు ఆడే మగడుగల ఆడది. స్వాధీనుడు sv-ādhīnuḍu. n. A dependent, an obedient man, one who is subject to another, one who is sub-servient, docile, or tractable. వశ్యుడు. విధేయుడు. వారు స్వాధీనులుకారు they are disobedient. తనకు స్వాధీనుడుగా నుండే తమ్ముని పంపించినాడు he sent his brother who was under his control. స్వాధీనురాలు sv-ādhīnu-r-ālu. n. A woman who is subject to, or submissive. విధేయురాలు.
