(p. 215) oḷle vāṭu olle-vāṭu. [Tel.] n. A scarf, the upper garment gracefully arranged round the neck. The wearing of an upper cloth. పై బట్టను కుచ్చెళ్లుపెట్టి మెడచుట్టి వచ్చునట్లుగా భుజములమీద వేసికొనుట.

(p. 280) kāse , కాస or కాసియ kāse. [Tel.] n. The truss of a man's or woman's outer garment, which is passed loosely between the knees and tucked in the waist behind. A girdle దట్టి హనుమంతకాసె a garb worn by masquers, with a monkey's tail. A truss, or modesty piece. గోచి. A truss, the flap of a garment. ఇనుపకాసె కట్టిన straitlaced, severe in chastity. కాసెలు కొనిరి they girded themselves for battle. కాసెపోయు to tuck up the cloth బట్టను గోచివలె వెనుకకు దోపు.

(p. 1344) suriya or సురె suriya. [from Skt. ఛురిక.] n. A small knife. చురకత్తి. సూరకత్తి. A. vi. 106. 'సుజ్ఞానమను వాడిసురియచేపట్టి.' HD. v. 1435. 'సురియ బట్టనచ్చుశూరుండుకారాదు.' Vema. i. 176. సురియాళు or సురెయాళు suriyāḷu. (సురియ+ఆళు.) n. A Pariab. మాలవాడు.
