(p. 16) ampakāḍu ampakāḍu. [Tel. from అమ్ము.] n. One who carries an arrow విల్లుచేతబట్టిన వాడు, ధానుష్కుడు. A marks man, a skilful archer. గురితప్పక అమ్మువేయువాడు, కృతహస్తుడు. 'హదనువచ్చుదాకనపరాధిపైరోష 'మాగిహదనుగన్నడనపవలయు లక్ష్యసిద్ధిదాకలావునశరమాగి కాడవిడుచునంపకాడుపోలె.' Amuk. iv.

(p. 16) ambali ambali. [Tel; plu, అంబలులు, అంబళులు or అంబళ్లు. Gen. అంబటి] n. Porridge. పిండి నూకలువేసి ౛ావగాకాచినది. చింతంబలి paste made of pounded tamarind seeds. అంబట్టి కుండ a porridge-pot. అంబటిప్రొద్దు break-fast time: about noon. 'పలుచనియంబళుల్ చెరుకుపాలెడనీళ్లు ... వడపిందెలు నీరుచల్లయున్ వెలయగబెట్టు వెసవిఁజందనచర్చమున్నగన్.' Amuk. i. 41.

(p. 93) avadagāki avada-gāki. [Tel.] n. An abominable wretch. పలుగాకి. 'దాచియెదురు పోయి దక్కిన గతి నువ్వునివ్వటిల్లవదన నీరజమున, కూర్చి చెట్టబట్టుకొని తెచ్చెలోపలి, కవదగాకినారియత్తలారి.' P. i. 592.

(p. 137) ibbaṭṭu ibbaṭṭu. [Tel.] n. Scarcity, dearness. కాలము ఇబ్బట్టుగానున్నది the times are hard.

(p. 210) odugu odugu. [Tel.] v. n. To make room. to move so as to accomodate తొలగు. To come to hand, to be got or obtained. దొరకు. To become plentiful సమృద్ధమగు. To be of use or convenient.
