(p. 813) polamu polamu. [Tel.] n. A field, corn land. చేను, పైరుపెట్టునేల. A rice field, వరిపైరుపెట్టునేల. Uncultivated land on which cattle graze, పసులుమేయు భూమి. A forest, అడవి. A place, land, ground, ప్రదేశము. ఊరిపొలము the land attached to a village. వెలిపొలము the outlying fields belonging to a village. A village, ఊరు. A trace, ౛ాడ. Manner, విధము. పొలపు కూరలు field herbs, or ordinary herbs, as చెంచలి, చిట్లింత, పేరింత, పొన్నగంటి, మొదలైనవి. (These weeds infest fields sown with జొన్నలు, &c.) 'అప్పొలమువరాహపోతములు భూవర తొండములేని యేనుగుల్.' Swa. iv. 18. టీ అప్పొలము వరహపోతములు, అక్కడి అడవిపందిగున్నలు. 'గీ ఈ పొలములగుమహాధిక వ్రతములు దేహబాధకములు.' M. (p. 877) bādha bādha. [Skt.] n. Pain, trouble, affliction, plague, annoyance, grief. దుఃఖము. బాధకము bādhakamu. n. An obstacle, hindrance, what hinders, opposes, or pains. బాధకము లేదు never mind, no matter: there's no must in the case. adj. Troublesome, hindering, awkward, opposing. బాధపడు bādha-paḍu. v. n. To be in pain, to grieve. బాధించు or బాధపెట్టు bādhinṭsu. v. a. To vex, trouble, oppress, torment, plague, force. బాధితుడు bādhituḍu. n. One who suffers or is afflicted. బాధ్యము bādhyamu. adj. Responsible, liable. Connected with, related to, having a right or claim to. బాధ్యత or బాధ్యత్వము bādhyata n. Responsibility, liability. Relationship, heirship. Right. claim. బాధ్యస్థుడు or బాధ్యుడు bādhya-sthuḍu. n. One who is responsible or liable. An heir. A rightful owner. దానికి నేనా బాధ్యుడను am I responsible for that? బాధ్యపడు bādhyapaḍu. v. n. To be obliged or bound, to be under obligation to be responsible or liable. బాధ్యపరచు bādhya-paraṭsu. v. a. To oblige, put under obligation, cause to be responsible.

(p. 1322) sādhakamu sādhakamu. [Skt.] adj. Completing, effecting, finishing. సాధించునది. n. Practice, exercise. Vouchers in evidence. Instruments, means, medium; authority for the use of a word. అభ్యాసము, అలవాటు, దస్తావేజు, ఉదాహరణము. కత్తిసాధకము sword exercise. నీవు చెప్పేమాటకు సాధకముకదర్దా have you any means of proving what you say? సాధకబాధకములు the pros and cons of a case. సాధకముచేయు sādhakamu-chēyu. v. a. To practise, exercise or use. అభ్యాసముచేయు. సాధకుడు sādhakuḍu. n. A conqueror, masterer, achiever, సాధించువాడు, నిష్పాదకుడు, సాధనకర్త. A devotee, ఉపాసకుడు. 'అయ్యోగియోగ సాధకుండకానేరడు.' A. iii. 90. 'స్వానుభూతి లేకశాస్త్రవాసనలచే సంశయంబు చెడదు సాధకునకు.' (Vema. 115.) సాధనము sādhanamu. n. A way, means, medium, instrument, agent, contrivance, expedient, tool, implement. Authority, reason. నిష్పాదనము, ఉపకరణము. సామగ్రి, ఉపాయము, హేతువు. సాధనసంపత్తి ways and means. మూలసాధనము the principal means. 'చక్రగదాశంఖ శార్ఙ్గాదిసాధను.' BX. సాధనీయము sādhan-īyamu. adj.
