(p. 902) bairāgi or బయిరాగి bai-rāgi. [for Skt. విరాగి.] n. A hermit or religious beggar. విరాగముగలవాడు. cf. వైరాగ్యము.

(p. 1229) vairāgi vai-rāgi. [Skt. from విరాగము.] n. An ascetic, a devotee; a monk. విరక్తుడు, బైరాగి. వైరాగ్యము vai-rāgyamu. n. Freedom from passion or worldly attachments, విరాగత్వము, విరక్తి. పురాణవైరాగ్యము the self restraint caused by reading pious books. ప్రసూతివైరాగ్యము the continence that impresses the mind of an accouchee. శ్మశానవైరాగ్యము the feelings of repentance caused by a funeral.

(p. 1293) sadā sadā. [Skt.] adv. Always, continually. ఎలల్లప్పుడు. సదాగతి sadā-gati. n. Lit. a perpetual motion: an epithet of the wind, వాయువు. సదాతనము sadā-taramu. adj. Eternal, permanent. నిరంతరమైన. సదాతనుడు sadā-tanuḍu. n. One who is eternal. శాశ్వతుడు. సదారోగి sadā-rōgi. n. A chronic invalid: one who is always ill. రోగిష్ఠుడు, దీర్ఘవ్యాధిగలవాడు. Vani. Rice, salt, firewood, &c., daily bestowed on travellers or mendicants at a choultry, బైరాగులకును బాటసార్లకును నిత్యము బియ్యము పప్పు ఇయ్యడము. సదాశివుడు sadā-ṣivuḍu. n. Lit. always propitious. An epithet of Siva, రుద్రుడు.
