A prank, caprice, proneness itch. నీకేమి గాడుపట్టిది what evil desire drove you to do this? గాడుదుర్విటుడు the lustful libertine. గాడుగల prurient, eager, prone, vicious, rank. గాడు v. a. (p. 930) bhrama or భ్రమము bhrama. [Skt.] n. Whirling round, gyration. గిరగిర తిరగడము. Error or obliquity of judgement. Delusion, misapprehension. Misconception, illusion. Desire, wish, fondness, longing. భ్రాంతి, వానికి కొడుకును చూడవలెనని నిండా భ్రమగానున్నది he wishes very much to see his son. adj. Erroneous. తబ్బిబ్బైన. భ్రమపుమాటలు nonsense. భ్రమణము or భ్రమి bhramaṇamu. n. Whirling, turning, going round, wandering. భ్రమపడు bhrama-paḍu. v. n. To err, be mistaken, be deluded. భ్రమపరచు bhrama-paraṭsu. v. a. To mislead, delude. భ్రమప్రమాదము bhrama-pramādamu. n. A blunder, oversight. భ్రమము, భ్రమియు or బ్రమియు bhramayu. v. n. To err, be deceived. To be confused, perplexed. భ్రమరము bhramaramu. n. The large black carpenter bee, తుమ్మెద. The poets compare braids of black hair to clustering bees. A large kind of wasp. భ్రమరకీటన్యాయము like the caterpillars which the wasp places in its nest as food for its grubs; these are supposed to change into wasps; the similitude is used to point out the entire change produced in the mind of a pupil. భ్రమరకము bhramarakamu. n. Hair curled upon the forehead, నొసట చుట్టలుచుట్టలుగా జీరాడే ముంగురులు. A top, బొంగరము. భ్రమరి bhramari. n. A female bee. ఆడుతుమ్మెద. భ్రమరించు bhramarinṭsu. v. n. To circle round, భ్రమరించు, or భ్రమించు or భ్రమియంచు bhraminṭsu. v. n. To turn round, to spin round. To be confused, misled, deluded. M. I. i. 157. భ్రమనుపొందు, తిరుగు.

(p. 1207) veḍagu or వెడంగు veḍagu. [Tel.] adj. Foolish. వెర్రి. పిచ్చి. అవివేకమైన. 'వెడగుమందుల చేతవిషమెట్లడంగు. చెడునొకోచీరాచినపాముకాటు.' HD. ii. 213. n. Folly, madness. అవివేకము, వికారము. A fool or man. వెర్రివాడు. 'చెప్పుటయునొప్పకయుండు వెడంగులగుట కార్యవచనంబుల తెరంగెరుంగరు.' M. V. iii. 233. 'వెడగు, భీష్మబుద్ధివినకచెడియె.' ib. VII. iv. 83. వెడగుపడు veḍagu-paḍu. v. n. To become foolish, అవివేకమునొందు. To become ugly, వికారమునొందు. వెడగుపాటు veḍagu-pāṭu. n. The act of becoming foolish or ugly, వెడగుపడుట. వెడగురుపడు veḍaguru-paḍu. n. To be bewildered, దిగ్భ్రమనొందు, జడత్వమునొందు. 'వెకు కవీగక వెడగురుపడక.' Chartira. p. 251.

(p. 1355) sokku or చొక్కు sokku. [Tel.] n. Faintness, stupefaction, intoxication, confusion of mind. మయికము, మత్తు. పరవశత, కలవరము, భ్రమ. సొక్కుపొడి intoxicating powder, love powder, a conjuring drug. సొక్కుమందు an intoxicating drug. 'ఇక్కురుసైన్యంబు సొక్కుదక్కకమున్న గ్రక్కున జనుము.' M. IV. v. 212. సొక్కు sokku. v. n. To be bewildered, stupefied, deluded. పరవశతను పొందు, మత్తుకమ్ము, భ్రమనుజెందు. 'పుష్పపరిమలయానూనవాసనకాత్మసొక్కుచును.' BD. iv. 1605. సొక్కించు or చొక్కించు sokkinṭu. v. a. To stupefy, intoxicate, enamour.పరవశతను పొందించు, మత్తుకమ్మేటట్టు చేయు.
