(p. 25) aggalamu aggalamu [Tel.] adj. Excessive vehement, intolerable. మెండు. 'తూర్యనినదమగ్గలమయ్యెన్' Swa. vi. 105. అగ్గలముగ adv. Excessively, vehemently, cruelly. దుస్సహముగా. 'దాపక చెప్పుము చెప్పుకున్ననగ్గలముగ నివ్వధింతునని.' H. iii. 140. అగ్గలించు aggalinṭsu [Tel. from అగ్గలము] v. n. To increase, to grow. ఎక్కువగు. 'ముచ్చటలగ్గలింప.' Vish. vii. 375.

(p. 231) kaṭṭu kaṭṭu. [Tel.] v. a. To tie, bind. బంధించు. To wear, as clothes. ధరించు. To connect, affix, attach. To store up, to lay by. కూడబెట్టు. 'క మున్ కట్టిన కర్మఫలంబులు నెట్టన భోగింపకుండ నేర్తురెపమనుజుల్.' భార. అది. v. To build, erect, నిర్మించు. To fascinate, charm, bewitch. To fabricate, compose, or put a story together. కల్పించు. కట్టుకథ a mere fiction or fable. To impute a sin or offence. దానికి రంకుకట్టిరి they charged her with adultery. తప్పుకట్టు to find fault with, to lay blame on నేరము మోపు. నడుముకట్టు to gird up the loins or be prepared. కనుకట్టువిద్య jugglery, legerdemain. తోటకు నీళ్లుకట్టు to water a garden. గాయముకట్టు to dress a wound. బండికట్టు to get ready a carriage. కత్తికట్టు to put on one's sword or arm oneself. రూకలుకట్టు to pay money. మగ్గములకు పన్ను కట్టినారు they fixed a tax on looms. నిలువకట్టు to strike a balance. ధరకట్టు to set a price. పద్యముకట్టు to compose a verse. ఓడకు చాపకట్టు to set sail. వాకట్టు strike dumb by spells, &c. ఈ మాటను కట్టివిడిచినారు they fabricated this story or scandal. దోవకట్టు to stop up the road. దోవకట్టి దోచినారు they lay in ambuscade and plundered the way farers. కడుపుకట్టు to restrain the appetite. కట్టని (neg. p) Unbuilt or unbound. కట్టని కల్లుకోట a rock fortress not built with hands. కట్టనిగూడు (P. i. 545.) a natural nest, not constructed.

(p. 327) kōti kōti. [Tel.] n. A monkey. తాను చెడ్డ కోతి వనమెల్లచెరిచినది 'one sickly sheep infects the flock.' కోతిపుండు బ్రహ్మరాక్షసి యైనట్లున్నది it is like making' mountains of molchills. కోతికొమ్మంచి kōti-kommanchi. [కోతి+కొమ్మ+అంచు or అనుచు.] n. A certain game. కోతివన్నె kōti-vanne. n. Monkey colour, i.e., brown. కోతిపుల్లలు kōti-pullalu. n. Certain sticks fixed in a loom. మగ్గపుపలకదారములను మీదికి తగిలించే పుల్లలు.

(p. 680) nētramu nētramu. [Skt.] n. The eye. కన్ను. A garment. Bleached or woven silk. వస్త్రము, వలిపము. 'మర్కటకీటకృతమైన మగ్గంబునేత్రసంపదవహింప.' A. i. 46. 'నేత్రంబుపట్టు' a kind of silk. BD. iii. 110. నేత్రోత్సవముగానున్నది it is a feast to the eyes.

(p. 709) panne , పన్నియ or పన్నెకట్లు panne. [Tel.] n. The centre part of a heckle. A weaver's reed-like comb that strikes the threads of the warps together after the shuttle has passed. మగ్గమునందు పడుగు నూలు వేరువేరుగా చొప్పించుటకై నడుమ దువ్వెన పండ్లవలె నిలువుగా నేర్పడియుండునట్లు వెదురుబద్దలతో అడ్డముగా కట్టబడిన సాలెవాని సాధన విశేషము.

(p. 725) paluka paluka. [Tel.] n. A shield, డాలు. The small bars of a loom, సాలెవాడు నేయు మగ్గములోని అడ్డకమ్ములు. 'అడిదముపలుకయునుంగొని.' M. VI. iii. 60.

(p. 786) peggaḍi or పెగ్గురు peggaḍi. Same as బెగ్గురు a crane. 'పెగ్గడికదుపుల బెగ్గిలమగ్గించి కొంగలపొంగెల్లగ్రుంగదొక్కి.' G. i. 108.

(p. 895) būsi būsi. [Tel.] n. Dirt, మురికి. Cobwebs, ఇండ్లలో వాసాలకుపట్టే సాలీళ్లమగ్గాలు.

(p. 940) maggamu maggamu. [Tel.] n. A loom, నేతి యంత్రము మగ్గముపెట్టు to set to work, మొదలుపెట్టు, ఆరంభించు. నా మగ్గము చెడగొట్టినాడు he baffled my efforts. మగ్గరి maggari. (మగ్గము + అరి.) n. A weaver, సాలెవాడు.

(p. 940) maggu maggu. [Tel.] v. n. To become mouldy by dampness and heat ఉక్కచే చెమ్మగిలి చెడు. అది మావానికి మగ్గుచున్నది she is too proud to stoop to her present condition మగ్గుడు magguḍu. n. The act of becoming mouldy, మగ్గుట. మగ్గుడుపారు magguḍu-pāru. v. n. To become mouldy.

(p. 1222) vēmamu vēmamu. [Skt.] n. A loom. సాలెవాడు నేయుపలక, నేతపలక, మగ్గము.

(p. 1324) sāmamu sāmamu. [Skt.] n. The third of the Vedas. తృతీయవేదము. సామగానము the chanting of this Veda.
