(p. 946) maṇugu or మడుగు maṇugu. [Tel.] v. n. To be folded, bent. To die, to expire. అణుగు. n. a clean cloth. ధౌతవస్త్రము, బట్ట. 'ఏకార్ణవంబైన యెడనజాచ్యుతుల, జేకొనకుదికెడు చాకియునతడు, మహితభక్తళికి మణుగులుశాత, మహినెపుడుమడివాలు మాచయ్యయనగ.' BD. iv. 145. మణుగు or మణువు maṇugu. n. A maund or weight of eight viss., i.e., forty seers or twenty-five pounds. ఎనిమిదివీసెల ఎత్తు. మణుగుబువ్వులు maṇugu-buvvulu. n. Vermicelli. ౛ంతికలలో భేదమైన భక్ష్యములు. The neck, కంఠము, గళము. మెడమీది జందెము the Brahminical cord worn over the shoulder. మెడకొంకులు the collar bones. మెడనుకట్టు to tie on the neck, i.e., to oblige, to constrain. ఈ ముసలిదానిని నామెడను కట్టిపోయినాడు he left the old woman as a weight upon my neck. మెడబట్టినూకు to push by the neck. మెడనులిగాడు meḍa-nuli-gāḍu. n. The bird called the Wryneck. మెడనూలు meḍa-nūlu. n.
