(p. 76) ammanalu or అమ్మనములు ammanalu. [Tel.] n. A game wherein a number of balls are thrown into the air, one being caught in the hand descending whilst others are rising: అణంగులు గుండ్లను ఎగరవేసి ఆడే ఆట. 'గుజగుజరేకులు గుజ్జనగూళ్లను బొమ్మలపెండ్లిండ్లు నమ్మములు.' N. ix. 101.

(p. 1110) loccu or లొ౛్జు loṭsṭsu. [Tel.] adj. Inferior, less, deficient. తక్కువ. 'మ ఇచ్చెలు లెల్లన్ మనలక్ష్మణాసతికిలొచ్చే సుమ్మురమ్యాకృతిన్.' Chamatk. Manj. ii. 9. 'ధాత్రిగల సార్థివులెల్లను లొచ్చచువీనికిన్.' Chatu. i. 52. line. 10. ఎక్కినవానికి ఏనుగులొజ్జు an elphant is nothing when you are upon it.

(p. 1141) valla valla. [Tel. another form of వలన.] A postposition used as a case ending in the 5th case of nouns and pronouns. By, by means of, from. వానివల్ల తెలిసినది I learned it from him or of him. ఈ మందువల్ల by means of this medicine. adj. Convenient, feasible, practicable, possible. యుక్తము, అనుకూలము. అది వల్లకాదు it is impossible. అక్కడికి పోవల్లలేదు you cannot go there. ఇరి లేకుంటే నల్లకాదు I cannot do without this. చెల్లిస్తేగాని వల్లకాదు you cannot avoid paying it. వాడు ఉంటేగాని వల్లకాదు I cannot do without him. నీవు వస్తేగాని వల్లకాదు your coming is indispensable, it cannot be done unless you come. చెప్పుకోక వల్లకాదు you cannot avoid explaining this. n. A stratagem, expedient, convenience. ఉపాయము, యుక్తి. వల్లపట్టుతప్పి పడినాడు he lost his hold and fell. ఎడమనల్లవాడు a left handed man, ఎడమచెయి వాటముగలవాడు. వల్లకాని valla-kāni. adj. Impracticable, impossible. అసాధ్యమైన. వల్లమాలిన valla-mālina. adj. Much, excessive; impracticable, అపరిమితమైన. వల్లగానుండు valla-ga-n-unḍu. v. n. To be convenient, practicable, possible, feasible. సాధ్యముగానుండు.

(p. 1208) veḍalu veḍalu. [Tel.] v. n. To come out, go out, set out, start, బయలువెళ్లు. 'వెడలుమని తేరుచూపిన.' M. XII. v. 461. వెడలబడు or వెడలబారు Same as వెడలు. వెడలబాటు veḍala-bāṭu. n. The act of going out. వెడలించు, వెడలుచు or వెడల్చు veḍa-linṭsu. v. a. To take out, send, send away, despatch, వెడలజేయు, బైటికి వెళ్లదీయు, పంపు, సాగినంపు. 'శీలమనాయడుచేకొనిమనలదేశంబు వెడలింపదిరుగుచున్నాడు.' Pal. 92. 'నేవేగమె వాలిననికి వెడలింపుమికన్.' R. v. 299. 'భుజగకేతను బలంబులతోడనిపుడు, మనపురి వెడలింపు మసలకుమింక.'
