(p. 40) atitimiṅgilamu ati-timingilamu [Skt.] n. The craken or biggest of fish. మహత్తరమైన చేప.

(p. 372) gukka or గ్రుక్క gukka. [Tel.] n. The act of drawing in the breath, a gulp, a mouthful. గుక్క తిరుగకుండా నవ్వెను he was in fits of laughter. గుక్కనిలుపు or గుక్క పట్టు to restrain the breath. గుక్కెడు gukkeḍu. n. A mouthful. గుక్కిలి or గ్రుక్కిలి gukkili. [Tel.] The apple of the throat, a gulp; గుక్కిళ్లు మింగినాడు he swallowed his saliva, i.e., restrained himself, hesitated.

(p. 528) timi timi. [Skt.] n. A huge fabulous fish, like the leviathan. R. ii. ix. 9. నూరామడపొడుగు చేప. తిమింగిలము timingalamu. n. A huge sea monster, like the kraken, that is supposed to be capable of devouring the తిమి.

(p. 982) miṅgu or మ్రింగు mingu. [Tel.] v. a. To swallow, devour. కబళించు. గ్రుక్కిళ్లు మింగు to swallow one's saliva, to stand speechless, to smother one's grief: to water, as the mouth, అపేక్షించు. గ్రుక్కిళ్లు ఎందుకు మింగుతావు చెప్పు why do you falter so in speaking. 'కన్నపుదొంగలువచ్చిరె, మిన్నక యీలోనివారె మింగిరటంచున్.' Vaij. iv. 54. the people inside have devoured it. మింగనగొండి, మింగగొడ్డి or మ్రింగనగొండి minga-na-goṇḍi. n. A glutton. తిండిపోతు. 'మనసిజారియు మింగగొండియయ్యె.' BD. iv. 1281.
