Thirdly, at the third. మూటియందు, మూడవదానియందు. plural మూళ్లు, as పదిమూళ్లు ten times three. మూడు ఎత్తులుగాచేసి laying the garland in three festoons. G. xi. 49. మూడు సరములుగాచేసి. ముక్కాక muk-kāka. Dry land as opposed to మడి or మాగాణి land artificially irrigated. సారంగమెట్ట the hill at Rajahmundry on which sārangadhara was slain. 'ఇట్టలంబుగమీద బుట్టలు పెరిగిమెట్టల క్రియనున్న యిట్టిసన్మునులు.' BD. iii. 2141. మెట్టజీలుగు meṭṭa-jīlugu. n. A species of జీలుగు. (q. v.) మెట్టతామర meṭṭa-tāmara. n. The plant called Cassia alata, or Senna alata. Rox. ii. 349. మెట్టపంట a dry crop, a crop raised on land which is solely dependent on rain. మెట్టమడుగు a lake among hills, or on rising ground, దొన, కొండమడుగు. మెట్టమార్గము the upper road, మెరకమార్గము. A land route (in opposition to సముద్రమార్గము 'by water.') మెట్టనాలుపిట్ట or మెట్టవాల్పిట్ట meṭṭa-vālu-piṭṭa. n. A fowl, కోడి.

(p. 1037) mogi mogi. [Tel.] n. An attempt, పూనిక. 'సీ ద్వాదశవార్షికోత్తమసత్రయాగంబు మొగిజేయుచున్న యమ్మునులకడకు.' భార. అది. i. Total a group. మొత్తము, గుంపు, సమూహము. Joint property, ఉమ్మడి. ఇది వారికి మాకు మొగి or మొగినిఉన్నది this is held jointly by us. 'వ భీముండును ... అతిబలుండు ననువారొక్క మొగియును, సుమిత్రుండును మిత్రవర్మయు ననువారొక్క మొగియును, సువీరుండును సువర్చుండు నను వారొక్క మొగియును నిట్లు మూడు మొత్తంబులై.' భార. అది. Manner విధము. A time, ఆవృత్తి. ఒక్కమొగి or ఒక్కమొగిన్ at once. ఒక్కపెట్టున. 'ఉక్కుమిగిలి యొక్కమొగిన్ బిక్కటిల్లి.' adv. At first, ముందుగా, ముందర. 'తగునితగదనియెదలో వగవకసాధులగు పేదవారికి నెగ్గుల్ మొగిజేయుదుర్వినీతుల కగుననిమిత్తాగమము లైవభయంబుల్.' M. I. i. 130. మొగియు mogiyu. v. n. To attempt, to undertake, పూను. To spread all over, to surround, as darkness, కవియు.

(p. 1275) santaptamu san-taptamu. [Skt.] adj. Much heated; pained, grieved, distressed, afflicted. సంతాపితమైన, ఖేదముగల, దుఃఖితమైన. సంతప్తచిత్తుడు he who is much grieved. 'సకలదెవమునులు సంతప్తచిత్తులై.' Padma. vii. 17. సంతప్తుడు san-taptuḍu. n. One who is burnt up, or exhausted with heat, hunger or thirst. ఎండ ఆకలి దప్పిచేత పీడింపబడినవాడు.
