(p. 209) ottaramu ottaramu. n. Raging, excessive, increase ముమ్మరము, ఉద్రేకము. ఒత్తరించు ottarinṭsu. [Tel.] v. t. To excel మించు. To occupy ఆక్రమించు.

(p. 782) pūsa pūsa. [Tel.] n. A bead, మణి. A joint of a finger, వ్రేలులోనగువాని కీలు. A bit or piece. వెన్నుపూసలు the joints of the backbone. ముడ్డిపూస the rump, os coccyx. 'చిటివేలిపూసపై ఘటియిల్లు పెడకట్టి చిమ్ముల నురియడాల్ముమ్మరముగ.' A. vi. 104. వెన్నపూస a bit of butter, i.e., butter. 'పుట్టనియట్టి బిడ్డలకు పూసలు కట్టుదు రమ్మలక్కలు.' (Ahalya. iii. 63.) women call for necklaces for their children before they are born, i.e., they count the chickens before they are hatched. పూసగ్రుచ్చినరీతి (KP. iv. 193.) in regular order. పూసకజ్జెము pūsa-kajjemu. n. The sweetmeat called maccaroons. పూసకామంచిగడ్డి or పూసలకామంచిగడ్డి pūsa-kāmanchi-gaḍḍi. n. A kind of కామంచి. పూసగురువెంద pūsa-guruvenda. n. A kind of head. గుంజాలత. పూసయొమ్ము or పూసయెముక the back bone, వెన్నుపూస. 'చేదోయికురుచయై చెవులు నిల్వంకలై పూసయెమ్ముకలు పొంచుకట్టి.' Kāsi Khānd. vi. 48. పూసలవాడు pūsala-vāḍu. n. One who sells beads, one who polishes precious stones, రత్నములు సానపెట్టువాడు.

(p. 824) prakōpamu pra-kōpamu. [Skt.] n. The height or crisis of any affair. ముమ్మరము. జ్వరప్రకోపములో in the height or crisis of the fever. ప్రకోపించు pra-kōpinṭsu. v. n. To be at its crisis. జ్వరము. ప్రకోపించినప్పుడు when the fever was at its height.

(p. 878) bārakamu or భారకము bārakamu. [from Skt. భారము.] n. Weight, heaviness; a burden, load.బరువు. A crisis, ముమ్మరము. జ్వరము నిండా బారకముగానున్నది the fever is at its height or crisis. బారకించు or భారకించు bārakinṭsu. v. n. To become severe, as fever. బారమగు. నాకు ఒళ్లు బారకించులాగున నున్నది I have a prospect of illness. బారకాడి bāra-kāḍi. n. A break, or yoke in which bullocks are trained. క్రొత్త యెద్దును పాతయెడ్లతో కట్టేకాడి. బారవట్టె or వారపట్టె bāra-paṭṭe. n. A chief beam lying on pillars.

(p. 921) bhāramu bhāramu. [Skt.] n. Weight, heaviness, a burden. బరువు. Responsibility, incumbent or bounden duty. Hardship. A certain weight. బారువ. 'కావున నాకుండలములు గైకొనుమివి. సంభావనముతో నిత్యము మహావరసౌవర్ణ భారమిచ్చుచునుండున్.' G. vii. 142. నాకు ఒళ్లు భారముగానున్నది I am unwell. నావంటి దీనులరక్షించే భారము తమదే it rests with you to relieve poor men like me. దూరభారములో నున్నాడు he is afar off. భారకము bhārakamu. n. A crisis. ముమ్మరము. జ్వరము నిండా భారకముగానున్నది the fever is at its height or crisis. భారకర్త bāra-karta. n. One who sustains or is responsible. Thus, దేవుడు మా భారకర్త God is our refuge. భారకించు bhāra-kinṭsu. v. n. To become severe, as fever. నాకు ఒళ్లు భారకించేలాగుననున్నది I have a prospect of illness. భారవాహుడు or భారకుడు one who carries a burden, బరువు మోయువాడు, భారీ bhārī. adj. Big, high, stout, bulky. Rich. respectable.

(p. 1008) mummaramu mummaramu [Tel.] n. Vehemence, excess. ఉగ్రము. జ్వరముయొక్క ముమ్మరము the crisis of the fever. జ్వరముయొక్క ముమ్మరము తగ్గినది the vehemence of the fever is now past. అతని పని యిప్పుడు నిండా ముమ్మరముగానున్నది his star is now in the ascendant. adj. Vehement, excessive, మిక్కిలి అతిశయమైన, ఉగ్రమైన. ముమ్మరముగా mummaramu-gā. adv. Vehemently, excessively. మిక్కిలి అతిశయముగా, ఉగ్రముగా. ముమ్మరించు mummarinṭsu. v. n. To grow stronger, redouble, exceed, become violent, to come to its height or crisis. ఉగ్రమగు. జ్వరము ముమ్మరించినది the fever reached in height, maximum, or crisis.
