(p. 761) pīlika pīlika. [Tel. from పీలు.] n. A rag, బట్టలు మొదలయినవాటిచీరిక. See పీరు.

(p. 785) peṇḍe or పెండెబద్ద penḍe. [Tel.] n. A lath or small rafter, commonly called a reaper, a strip of wood. ఇంటివాసములమీద అడ్డముగా వేసికట్టే కొయ్య. A pannier or pack, being half a bullock load. పొగాకు మొదలయినవాటిలో సగము. విభూతి పెండెకట్లు or త్రిపుండ్రకము the triple line of ashes drawn across the forehead by worshippers of Siva, పెండెలవలె పట్టెలుగాతీర్చిన విభూతి రేఖలు.

(p. 961) maluku or మల్కు maluku. [Tel.] n. A turn, twist, fold. A slip-knot. దారము మొదలయినవాటిని ఎదురెదురుగా తగిలించి మళ్లీ పెడమర్లతిప్పినది. కొండమలుకుగాలి an eddy of wind round a point of land. 'మల్కుతో. డామెలివెట్టి కట్టిన కడానిజగాజిగిపాగమీద.' T. v. 7.

(p. 997) muccika much-chika. [Tel. ముందు + సిక.] n. Husk or scales like those at the stalk part of the cocoanut or palm fruit. తాటిపండ్లు మొదలయినవాటి తొడిమెకిందనుండేబిల్ల. A basket, గంప.

(p. 1358) sorugu sorugu. [Tel.] n. The drawer of a table or box. పెట్టెలు మొదలయినవాటిలోని అర. A swoon, మూర్ఛ. v. n. To faint, to swoon. మూర్ఛిల్లు. To fade or languish, to fall down. To run away, వాడు, కూలు, పడు, పారిపోవు. 'విషాణశిఖాహతిచే నెమ్ములు విరిగి సొరిగిజీవనము విడిచెన్.' P. i. 241.
