(p. 1007) muppiri mup-piri. [Tel.మూడు + పిరి.] n. Three folds. మూడుపిరులు. adj. Threefold, triple. Of three twists or strands (పురి), as a cord. ముప్పిరిదారము a threefold cord. ముప్పిరిగొను mup-piri-gonu. v. n. To redouble or swell. మూడుమార్లు పెనగొను, అతిశయించు. ముప్పరిగొన్న threefold, redoubled, vehement. ముప్పిరిగొన్న మొహము redoubled, vehement. ముప్పిరిగొన్న మోహము redoubled love. ముప్పిరిగొన్న వేడుక exceeding joy. 'చలము కోపంబు రోషంబు నీ ముడు ముప్పిరిగొనగ' annoyance, anger, and spite united to spur him on. Nala. D. iii. 58. ముప్పరిచేప or ముంగి ముప్పిరి muppiri-chēpa. n. A kind of fish, a species of Sparus, Mesoprion quinque lincatus.

(p. 1031) mēlu mēlu. [Tel.] n. Good, kindness. ఉపకారము. Good fortune, prosperity, favour, happiness, క్షేమము, శుభము. Profit, advantage, లాభము. Righteousness, పుణ్యము, సుకృతము. Excellence, superiority, విశేషము. Love, మోహము. Pride, మదము. 'చదువుల మేలులేదొ.' Love, fascination, infatuation, distraction, ignorance, weakness of intellect, loss of consciousness, a swoon. వలపు, అజ్ఞానము, మూర్ఛ. చిత్తవైకల్యము. మోహదృష్టిబేరము buying blind-fold, or without an inquiry into the real value, or on a cursory glance. మోహణము mōhaṇamu. n. A syren: a name of the queen of the fairies, బకరీతిదేవత. మోహినివేషము a captivating form, the guise of a syren.

(p. 1133) vargamu vargamu. [Skt.] n. A class or tribe, a group or set of things, the whole group or body of a number of similar things. సజాతీయసమూహము. A chapter, అధ్యాయము. భూవర్గము the chapter regarding the earth. కవర్గము the class of guttural letters. త్రివర్గము a class of three (objects, as love, duty, and wealth.) ఆప్త వర్గము a body of friends, a band of allies. తమపోష్యవర్గములో నున్నానుగనుక as I am one among the number of your dependants. అరిషడ్వర్గము the six classes of foes to good, i.e., the six passions, కామక్రోధ లోభ మోహమదమాత్సర్యములు, desire, wrath, covetousness, lust, arrogance, and envy. కట్టువర్గము a dress, or suit of clothes. వర్గావర్గి vargā-vargi. [Mahr.] n. Exchange, transfer, income, resources. వచ్చుబడి. వర్గావర్గీచేయు vargā-vargī-chēyu. v. a. To change, or exchange. మార్చు. వర్గు or వర్గువు vargu. n. A square number (in arithmetic,) సమసంఖ్య. In accounts, it means a ledger. ఆసామివారిగా వ్రాసినలెక్క పేరువరుసగా వ్రాసినలెక్క. Change of appointment, ఉద్యోగములను మార్చడము. వర్గించు varginṭsu. v. a. To classify, class, post, arrange. తరగతిగా ఏర్పరచు, వర్గుచేయు.

A lover, an amorous person. కామముగలవాడు. కాముకుడు. వలపుకత్తె or వలపుకత్తియ valapu-katte. n. An amorous woman, కామము గలది. కాముకి. వలపుకీలు Same as పోకముడి. (q.v.) వలపుమోపరి valapu-mōp-ari. n.
