(p. 964) masakamu masakamu. [Tel.] n. Sexual intercourse or desire, సంభోగము, సంభోగేచ్ఛ. మసకొను masa-konu. (మసకము + కొను.) v. n. To yield, melt, be charmed. భ్రమపడు. 'మసకొనిరేగుపండ్లకును మౌక్తికముల్ వెలబోసినట్లు.' Dasaradhi § 12. To desire sexual intercourse. మసకొలుపు to excite such a desire.

(p. 1002) muttemu , ముత్తియము or ముత్యము muttemu. [from Skt. మౌక్తికము.] n. A pearl. Any gummy drop resembling a pearl. See ముత్యము. ముత్తెపుబంట muttepu-banṭa. n. Lit: a crop of pearls, an epithet applied to a sugar cane, చెరకు. ముత్తెపురిక్క నెల muttepu-rikka-nela. n. An epithet applied to the month, చైత్రమాసము. ముత్తెపుసవతు muttepu-savatu. n. The lunar mansion called చిత్రానక్షత్రము. ముత్తెసరి mutte-sari. n. A pearl necklace, ముక్తాహారము. A kind of grain, ధాన్యవిశేషము. Any bead or concretion resembling a pearl, such as is found in bamboos. ముత్తెములవంటి లిపి a pearly (i.e., delicate) handwriting. ముత్తెపుచిప్ప muttepu-chippa. n. A pearl oyster, mother of pearl. శుక్తి ముత్తెపుచిప్పలు. a sort of cake. H. i .118.

(p. 1002) mutyamu or ముత్తెము mutyamu. [from Skt. మౌక్తికము.] n. A pearl. మౌక్తికము. చిప్పముత్యము an artificial pearl. వానికి అమ్మవారు పొడిచినపుడు ముత్యాలు బాగా లేవలేదు the pustules did not rise properly when he had small pox. ముత్యాలమ్మ mutyālamma. n. A certain local goddess.

(p. 1064) ratnamu ratnamu. [Skt.] n. A jewel, precious stone, gem. మణి. A masterpiece of fine thing, the best of its kind of species స్వజాతి శ్రేష్ఠము, నవరత్నములు the nine precious stones, viz., మౌక్తికము a pearl, పద్మరాగము an emerald, వజ్రము a diamond. ప్రవాళము a coral, మరకతము. an emerald నీలము a sapphire, గోమేధికము an agate. పుష్యరాగము a ruby, వైడూర్యము a cat's eye. అశ్వరత్నము a jewel of a horse, i.e., a noble stead. స్త్రీరత్నము an unrivalled woman. గగనరత్నము the sun, as the gem of heaven. అప్సరోరత్నములు the most lovely of nymphs. రత్నకంబళము ratna-kamba-lamu. n. A carpet. తివాసీ. రత్నగర్భ .ratna-garbha n. The earth; as producing gems. భూమి. 'వైశ్యకన్యకల్ గీరనగింజలాడుతరి క్రిందనునిచిన దివ్యరత్నముల్ పౌరులు ద్రొక్కుచున్ జనగపాతుకొనంధరణీ పురంధ్రికిన్వారకరత్నగర్భయను నామము బెట్టిరి సత్కవీశ్వరుల్.' T. ii. 20. రత్నగర్భుడు ratna-garbhuḍu. n. Kubēra, the god of wealth, కుబేరుడు. The god of the sea, సముద్రుడు. రత్నసానువు ratna-sānuvu. n.
