(p. 357) gamakamu gamakamu. [Skt.] n. Increase, fulness: springiness, exertion. పూనిక, యత్నము. adj. Much, great అధికము. Fine, pleasant. మనోజ్ఞము. గమకము or గమకత్వము gamakamu. n. Connection, in a sentence the word to be understood. తోపజేయునది. గమకించు gama-kinṭsu. v. n. To rise, to spring: to exert one self పూను, యత్నముచేయు, ఆయత్తమగు. 'మ తమియంచున్ గమకించుభీతి మదిలో దర్కించు గాంచున్ వెతన్.' T. ii. 80.

(p. 575) daṇḍu danḍu. [from Skt. దండము.] n. An army, a multitude, a swarm, సైన్యము, సమూహము. మిడతల దండు a swarm of locusts. దండాట or దండాడింపు danḍ-āṭa. n. Revels, gambols, frolies, merry. making. Tossing red powder over one another at a feast. డేగాట. దండెత్తు danḍ-ettu. (దండు+ఎత్తు.) To raise an army. యుద్ధప్రయత్నముచేయు. To wage war. To invade.

(p. 1053) yatnamu yatnamu. [Skt.] n. An effort, excrtion, endeavour; a method, measure, step, plan, scheme, intention, design, purpose. ౛తనము, ఉద్యోగము, కడక, ఉపాయము. దైవయత్నము a decree or interposition of Providence, the finger of God. యత్నించు or యత్నపడు yatninṭsu. v. n. To endeavour, attempt, try, intend, design, ప్రయత్నముచేయు. యత్నపడిఉన్నాడు he intends or is about to do it. See ప్రయత్నము.
