The water plant called Nymphœa alba. అల్లికాడ is peduncle or flower stalk. అల్లిపువ్వు the flower of this water plant. ఉత్పలభేదము. ఆకాశపు అల్లి Menyanthes cristata, a water plant. అల్లి Nymphœa Lotus, a variety with a red flower. Rox. ii. 260, says. 'అల్లి is Memecylon Edule: a wild shrub, like broom, with beautiful fragrant flowers in bunches.' దాని ఒళ్లు అల్లికాడవలెనున్నది her body is like the stem of a water lily, she is very chilly. అల్లిరాగులు the fruit of the blue lotus.

(p. 454) cōḷlu ṭsōḷḷu. [Tel. చోడి+లు.] n. A grain called రాగులు. Panicum paludosum. Rox. i. 307. 343. 345. తమిదెలు.

(p. 509) tamidalu, tamidelu or తవిదెలు tamidalu. [Tel.] n. The grain called ragi, Cynosurus coracanus. చోళ్లు or రాగులు.

(p. 1016) mūna mūna. [Tel.] n. The chaff of castor oil seeds, &c. the larger particles that will not pass through in straining. వస్త్రగాలి తముచేయగా రాలక నిలిచినది. రాగులు ఆముదాలు మేలురాసికాగా మిగిలినపొల్లు. మూను. v. a. To strain, as flour through a piece of cloth, వస్త్రగాలితము చేయు.

Eternal, permanent. నిరంతరమైన. సదాతనుడు sadā-tanuḍu. n. One who is eternal. శాశ్వతుడు. సదారోగి sadā-rōgi. n. A chronic invalid: one who is always ill. రోగిష్ఠుడు, దీర్ఘవ్యాధిగలవాడు. Vani. Vilas. p. 311. సదావృత్తి sadā-vṛitti. n. Rice, salt, firewood, &c., daily bestowed on travellers or mendicants at a choultry, బైరాగులకును బాటసార్లకును నిత్యము బియ్యము పప్పు ఇయ్యడము. సదాశివుడు sadā-ṣivuḍu. n. Lit. always propitious. An epithet of Siva, రుద్రుడు.
