(p. 661) nivasiñcu ni-vasinṭsu. [Skt.] v. n. To dwell, reside, live in. వాసముచేయు, ఉండు. నివాసము. నివసతి or నివసనము ni-vāsamu. n. A house, dwelling. ఇల్లు. అక్కడ నివాసమయినారు they dwelt there. నివాసి a dweller, నివసించువాడు.

(p. 1143) vasati vasati. [Skt. from వస్ to dwell.] n. A house, dwelling. ఇల్లు. Convenience. commodiousness, comfort. హాయి, సౌఖ్యము, అనుకూలము. Night, రాత్రి. Also, a pension, an allowance of money, భరణము. వసతి దారుడు a pensioner, a holder of an allowance of rent-free land. A proprietor of land, a landholder. అక్కడ నీళ్లవసతిలేనందున as good water is not easily procurable there. ఆ యిల్లు నిండా వసతిగాలేదు the house is not very convenient. వారికి ఆ గ్రామములో వసతులు ఏర్పరిచినాడు, లేక, ఇచ్చినాడు he granted them a living in that village. వసతిగానుండే vasati-gā-n-unḍē. adj. Convenient, commodious. హాయిగానుండే. అక్కడ నీకు వసతిగా నుంటే దిగు if you find a suitable spot you may halt or put up there.

(p. 1143) vasat vasat. [Skt.] adj. Residing in, remaining at, dwelling in. ఉండే, వాసము చేసే.

(p. 1169) viṭatāṭamu , విటతటము, విటతాటనము or విటతాటము viṭa-tāṭamu. [Tel.] n. Confusion, disorder. తారుమారు. adj. Confused, disorderly, తారుమారు viṭa-tāṭamu-gā. adj. Topsy-turvy. తారుమారుగా, ఈవలిదావలనావలిదీవలనుండునట్లు. 'వెసజైనప్రతిమలవిటతాటమాడి, వసతులన్నియువ్రచ్చివైపించెగాదె.' BD. vi. 202.
