To appertain or belong to, to be attached to. కలుగు, పొసగు, సరిపడు, ఒప్పు. ఒనరు n. Convenience, facility, వీలు, వాటము, పొందిక. Elegance, gracefulness ఇంపు. ఆ దుర్గములో ఒనరులు చూచి లగ్గలెక్కినారు they spied out the convenient places in that fort or hill and then escaladed it. ఒనరగా onara-gā. adv. Elegantly, becomingly, fitly. ఒనరజేయు onara-jēyu. v. a. To grace or adorn. To fit or accommodate పొసగజేయు. ఒనరుపడు onaru-paḍu. v. i. To agree with పొందుపడు. ఒనరించు or ఒనరుచు or ఒనర్చు onarinṭsu. v. t. To make, form, do, effect, perform. చేయు. To celebrate (as a sacrifice.) To compose or frame, to write (a book). బాగొనరించు to do good, or benefit. ఎగ్గొనరించు to do harm, to injure. నాదమొనర్చి uttering a sound. ఊడిగము లొనరించి having served. యుక్తములగనొనర్తువు thou shalt render them acceptable. యుద్ధమొనర్చు to wage war.నగుబారొనరించును it will make them laugh.

To sift or examine thoroughly: తూరు (bran) పారునట్టు ఎత్తు, లేక, పట్టు. తూరుపు or తూర్పు tūrupu. [Tel. from తూరు. to enter. Lit. where the sun enters] n. The East. తూరుపుకొండ tūrupu-konḍu. n. The Eastern Hill, an imaginary hill supposed to be situated where the sun rises. తూరుపురేడు lit. the Lord of the East, i.e., Indra.

(p. 772) purra purra. [Tel.] adj. Left. ఎడమ, వామము. పుర్రచెయ్యి purra-cheyyi. n. The left hand, ఎడమచెయ్యి. పుర్రచెయ్యివాటము గలవాడు a left handed man.

(p. 785) peṇḍemu or పెండియము penḍemu. [Tel.] n. A door made of strips of bamboo, a wooden gate. పశువులదొడ్డియొక్క ద్వారకవాటము. A wooden bar used to fasten a door. అడ్డకర్ర. See పెండియము.

(p. 912) bōru bōru. [Tel.] adj. Great, large. బోరుతలుపులు or బోర్తలుపులు large doors, పెద్దకవాటములు. 'వారలుతమ తమవాకిటి, బోరుతలుపులెట్టి సమయములదెరవకతా, రారసిపదిలముసేయుచు, వారూఢస్థితివహించిరా సౌధములోన్.' KP. vi. 130. n. A rush or downpour, as of heavy rain, వానకురియుటయందగు ధ్వన్యనుకరణము. బోరున, బోరన, భోరున or భోరన bōruna. adv. Quickly, rushingly, శీఘ్రముగా. Much, grandly, greatly, heavily (as rain.) వాన జోరున కురిసినది it rained heavily. బోరునిఏడ్బినది she wept bitterly. 'మనుజేశ్వరులెల్లనుబోరన దమయంతీ స్వయంవరమునకు నొప్పంజనుదెంచిరి.' M. III. ii. 28. బోరుకలగు, బోరుకలుగు or బోరుకల్గు bōru-kalugu. v. n. To sound loud, మ్రోగు, ధ్వనించు బోరుకొను bōru-konu. v. n. To resound, sound aloud. 'భేరిమొదలగువాద్యముల్ బోరుకొనగ.' Ila. i. 104. బోరుకొలుపు bōru-kolupu. v. a. To sound. ధ్వనించునట్లుచేయు. 'బూరుగల్ కంచుకొమ్ములు కాహళములు బోరు కొలుపుటకు నంబుధులెల్లగలగ.' ND. ii. 552.

(p. 1141) valla valla. [Tel. another form of వలన.] A postposition used as a case ending in the 5th case of nouns and pronouns. By, by means of, from. వానివల్ల తెలిసినది I learned it from him or of him. ఈ మందువల్ల by means of this medicine. adj. Convenient, feasible, practicable, possible. యుక్తము, అనుకూలము. అది వల్లకాదు it is impossible. అక్కడికి పోవల్లలేదు you cannot go there. ఇరి లేకుంటే నల్లకాదు I cannot do without this. చెల్లిస్తేగాని వల్లకాదు you cannot avoid paying it. వాడు ఉంటేగాని వల్లకాదు I cannot do without him. నీవు వస్తేగాని వల్లకాదు your coming is indispensable, it cannot be done unless you come. చెప్పుకోక వల్లకాదు you cannot avoid explaining this. n. A stratagem, expedient, convenience. ఉపాయము, యుక్తి. వల్లపట్టుతప్పి పడినాడు he lost his hold and fell. ఎడమనల్లవాడు a left handed man, ఎడమచెయి వాటముగలవాడు. వల్లకాని valla-kāni. adj. Impracticable, impossible. అసాధ్యమైన. వల్లమాలిన valla-mālina. adj. Much, excessive; impracticable, అపరిమితమైన. వల్లగానుండు valla-ga-n-unḍu. v. n. To be convenient, practicable, possible, feasible. సాధ్యముగానుండు.

(p. 1148) vāṭamu vāṭamu. [Tel.] adj. Handsome, pretty. అందమైన. 'వాటములైన నున్గురులు.' V. P. viii. 108. Convenient. అనుకూలమైన. n. Convenience, అనుకూలము. To be convenient. అనుకూలపడు, జతపడు, వల్లగానుండు.

(p. 1202) vīlu vīlu. [Tel.] v. n. To be of use, ఉపయోగించు. adj. Convenient, practicable, అనుకూలము. n. An expedient, conveneince; success, facility, practicability, possibility, వాటము, పొసగుపాటు, అనుకూలము. వీలుచేయు vīlu-chēyu. v. a. To make convenient. To raise money from ryots in proportion to their kists. వీలుగా vīlu-gā. adv. Expediently, conveniently, అనుకూలముగా, ఉసులుగా, వాటముగా. 'వీలుగాసిగవేసిపూలదండలు చుట్టి.' Jagannadha. ii. 21. వీలుపడు or వీల్పడు vīlu-paḍu. v. n. To be convenient, to be practicable, అనుకూలపడు, సరిపడు. వీలుపరచు or విల్పరచు vīlu-paraṭsu. v. a. Fitness, decorum, propriety. కార్యము, వ్యవహారము. పని, విషయము, సహవాసము, సాంగత్యము, యుక్తము, యోగ్యము, సంపర్కము. అతడు చెప్పిన సంగతి ఏమంటే he stated as follows. ఈ సంగతి నాకు తెలిసి on knowing this. ఆ సంగతి నేను వినలేదు I did not hear of it. అతడు బ్రతికియుండే సంగతి చనిపోయిన సంగతి తెలియలేదు I do not know whether he is alive or dead. సంగతిని or సంగతిగా san-gati-ni. adv. Properly, fitly. యుక్తముగా, తగినట్టుగా. 'పట్టు వస్త్రములు భూషణముల్ గల చందనంబులున్, సంగతిగట్టియుందొడిగి సయ్యనజూచె.' ప్రసన్న రాఘవశతకము. సంగతించు san-gatinṭsu. v. n. To happen, occur. సంభవించు. ప్రసక్తించు. సంగతుడు san-gatuḍu. n. (In composition,) one who is accompanied by, or beset by. కూడుకొన్నవాడు. 'అపరాహ్ణసంగతుండగుత పనుంగని ప్రొద్దుగ్రుంక దడవేగుదురీరిపులన.'
