To clear up, explain, settle. అతనిపని తెల్లవారించినారు they arranged his matter.

A place, land, ground, ప్రదేశము. ఊరిపొలము the land attached to a village. వెలిపొలము the outlying fields belonging to a village. A village, ఊరు. A trace, ౛ాడ. Manner, విధము. పొలపు కూరలు field herbs, or ordinary herbs, as చెంచలి, చిట్లింత, పేరింత, పొన్నగంటి, మొదలైనవి. (These weeds infest fields sown with జొన్నలు, &c.) 'అప్పొలమువరాహపోతములు భూవర తొండములేని యేనుగుల్.' Swa. iv. 18. టీ అప్పొలము వరహపోతములు, అక్కడి అడవిపందిగున్నలు. 'గీ ఈ పొలములగుమహాధిక వ్రతములు దేహబాధకములు.' M. (p. 896) beṇḍu benḍu. [Tel.] n. Cork, pith. A float used in angling. The shrub termed Aschynomine aspera. జీలుగు. adj. Sapless, నిస్సారమైన. బెండ్లదంట్లు sapless stalks. 'బెండుబొమ్మవలెనుండెన్ సందిటన్ జుల్కనై.' A. v. 66. ఈకాక గాలి శరీరమును బెండుచేయుచున్నది this burning wind dries up the body. బెండుపడు benḍu-paḍu. v. n. To be alarmed, to be dejected or disheartened, to become weak, బలహీనతనొందు. 'దండిగావార్చెనిర్జరుల్ బెండుపడగ.' T. v. 92. బెండుపరచు or బెండుచేయు benḍu-paraṭsu. v. a. To frighten, to render powerless. నిస్సారమగునట్లుగాచేయు. బెండుమానిసి a weak man, బలహీనుడైన మనుష్యుడు.

(p. 981) māsaramu māsaramu. [Skt.] n. The scum of boiled rice. అన్నము వార్చినగంజి, గంజిమీది మీగడ. adj. Spread, వ్యాప్తము, Long, దీర్ఘము. మాసరముగ or మాసరమై māsaramu-ga. adv. Being mingled or mixed, unitedly, మిశ్రమముగా, కలిసినట్టుగా. 'చెంగల్వకాలువలకు డిగ్గి కాసరదధిమండమాసరంబులుగా బిసికి యూరంబెట్టిన వారంగశృంగి బేరభంగంబులతో.' A. iv. 37. టీ మాసరంబులుగా, మిశ్రమముగాను. 'ప్రేమసంప్రీతి వినయమాశ్రితవిలోకనంబు గృష్ణునిముఖకమలంబునందు మాసరంబుగ వికసనమధువునకు మధువ్రతంబయి నిగుడునాసువ్రతుండు.' M. XII. i. 435.

(p. 1157) vāru vāru. [Tel. plu. of వాడు. he.] pron. They, వాండ్రు. It is also thus used, as equivalent to people folk. నావారు my people. మీవారు your people. ఈ యూరివారు the people of this village. నేను చూచినవారు the people whom I saw. Added to some nouns it has an honorific sense, as దేవరవారు, దొరవారు your honor. Infl. వారి their. వారు v. n. To flow down, or drain off, as water from boiled rice, వడియు, గంజిమొదలైనదికారు. To be lessened or diminished, ఉడుగు. v. a. To pare or cut thin, as the ends of a palm leaf. తాటాకు ఓరచివ్వు. వారుకొను vāru-konu. v. a. To take up by the handful. Metaphorically, to get, gain, possess oneself of. పిడికిళ్లాదిగా ఎత్తుకొను, పొందు; చెందు. నన్ను మోసము చేసి వాడేమి వారుకొన్నాడు has he gained any thing by cheating me? వారుచు or వార్చు vāruṭsu. (causal of వారు) v. a. To touch water with the lips and cast it away. ఆచమించు. To cause to flow, వారజేయు. గంజివార్చు to pour off the water from boiled rice by inclining the vessel, వారు నట్టుచేయు. To expect, ప్రతీక్షించు, ఉద్దేశించు. సంధ్యవార్చు to offer up prayers: (because while uttering the prayer called సంథ్య they let water run through their hungers.) 'హేమకుంభ జలములనొగివార్చి జలకంబుదీర్చి.' DRU. 774. 'సంధ్యవార్చువేళ.' G. vi. 17. వారుపు or వార్పు vārupu. n. The act of straining water or letting it flow, ఆచమనము. Water poured off from boiling rice, గంజి.

(p. 1225) vēvili or వేవిలిచేను vēvili. [Tel.] n. A field ploughed last year but this year lying fallow. నిరుడుదున్ని నిలిపిన పొలము. A field cultivated only at intervals. An uncultivated field, దున్ననిపొలము. A field, పొలము. adj. Occasional, done at intervals. 'క దేవార్చనానిమిత్తము, దావేరొకతోటసేయదలచియతండా, తావుగృహస్థులచేతన్, వేవిలుసుక్షేత్రభూమివిలువకు గొనియెన్.' నై. i.

(p. 1278) sande sande. [from Skt. సంధ్య.] n. Evening, సాయంకాలము. Daily prayers used by Brahmins, &c. సంధ్యావందనము. adj. Vesper; appertaining to the evening, or vesper hour. సాయంకాలపు. సందెచీకటి the evening twilight. సందెదీపమన్నా పెట్టదు she has not so much as a light in the evening. సందెవేళ or సందెకడ at even-tide, in the evening. 'అయ్యలుసందెవేళజని యాడగ నింటికి రాక.' H. iii. 69. సందెవార్చు to perform daily prayers. సందె౛ాము, సందెప్రొద్దు or సందెరేళ sande-ḍzāmu. n. The time of sunrise or sunset, when the night passes into the day or the day into the night. Generally, the evening.
