(p. 1236) vyāsamu vyāsamu. [Skt.] n. Expansion, diffusion, విరివి. A dissertation, an essay. ఏ విషయమునైనను విరివిగా వ్రాయుట. వ్యాసుడు vyāsuḍu. n. Vyāsa, the sage who is said to have written the Mahā Bhārata. పరాశరునికొడుకు వ్యాసఘట్టము vyāsa-ghaṭṭamu. n. Any difficult passage in the Mahā Bhārata; a puzzle or stumbling block; an inextricable difficulty. భారతములో అతికఠినముగా నుండేపట్టు, అసాధ్యముగా నుండునది.

(p. 1346) sūktamu sūktamu. [Skt. సు+ఉక్తము.] adj. Well or properly said. చక్కగా చెప్పబడ్డ. n. A hymn in the Rig Veda. వేదములో నొక విషయమును గురించిన కొన్ని పనసలు. 'అన్న సూక్తంజపిత్వాతు.' L. iii. 52.
