(p. 374) guḍi guḍi. [Tel.] n. A circle. The name of the secondary form of the vowel ఇ. A temple. A halo round the sun or moon. గుడివచ్చి మీదపడినట్లు to meet harm where none was expected. గుడికట్టు guḍi-kaṭṭu. n. The round or total extent of land under a village: a district. గుడికొను guḍi-konu. v. n. To spread. క్రమ్ము. 'క అడలుచుబెదవులుతడుపుచు గుడికొనుకన్నీరు గ్రుక్కికొనుచున్ మదిలో నుడుగని నెంజిలినేమియు నుడువనియమ్మానధను గనుంగొనివేగన్.' స్వా. iii.

(p. 1036) mogali or మొగిలి mogali. [Tel.] n. The Screw Pine, or Mangrove, Mandanus odoratissimus. (Rox. iii. 738.) కేతకి. మొగిలిచాప a mat made of its leaves. మొగలాకుగొడుగు an umbrella made of its leaves. మొగిలిచండ్లు the drooping tips of the branches. మొగిలిపువ్వు the fragrant flower of this tree. మొగిలినాగు a snake said to be found in its flower. మొగలిరేకు a petal of its flower, or an ornament worn by women on the head. మొగలికోడి mogali-kōḍi. n. A watercock. ఒకపక్షి. మొగలిపనస mogali-panasa. n. The pineapple, అనాసచెట్టు మొగలేరు moga-lēru. (మొగలి + ఏరు.) n. The celestial river. ఆకాశగంగ. The name of a stream, also called సువర్ణముఖి. 'మొగలేటిమడువున' Kālahas. ii. 161. BD. iii. 349. మొగలివాకిలి mogali-vākili. n. An entrance to a town, తలవాకిలి. A town hall where criminal cases are tried. కచ్చేరి, హ౛ారము. 'పణిహారులు వేగను వీరచోడునింటను వెలుగొందుగిన్నె కపటంబునగైకొని దొంగవంచు నవ్వవజిదళాక్షినింమొగలివాకిటికీడిచి చోరదండన మొనరింప జూడగ.' Valeswara. v. 85.

(p. 1217) vē vē. [Tel.] pron. Same as వేయి. (q. v.) adj. Thousand, సహస్రము. Many, అనేకము. వేమారులు many times. adv. Quickly , speedily, శీఘ్రముగా. 'దేవాన్వితంబైన హర్మ్యంబువేసొచ్చి.' G. ii. 80. 'రథమువేకొని పొమ్ము.' DRAyo. 127. 'వినినపఠించిన వేవిధముల.' M. XV. ii. 143. వేగంటి or వేగన్నులసామి vē-ganṭi. n. Lit. the thousand-eyed; a name of Indra. ఇంద్రుడు. 'దీనిగనుగొన్న వేగంటి దేవరకును, వెచ్చనిట్టూర్పు పుక్కిట వెడలకున్నె.' R. vii. 112. వేచుంగులపాగ vē-ṭsungula-pāga. (వేచుంగులు+పాగ.) n. The serpent called శేషుడు. Lit. one who has a thousand-folded turban. వేవెలుగు or వేవెలుంగలదొర vē-velugu. n. The sun, సూర్యుడు. 'వేవెలుంగుల దొరజోడు వేవెలుంగు.' A. i. 22.
