(p. 171) ullaṭa ullaṭa. [Tel.] n. A hammock. ఉల్లెడ. శవమును ఉల్లట కట్టి తీసికొని పోయినారు they slung the corpse in a sheet on a pole and carried it away.

(p. 850) prētamu prētamu. [Skt.] n. A ghost, spirit, shade. The spirit before the obsequial rites are performed. ఒకవిధమైన భూతము. A corpse, పీనుగు. (p. 1285) saṃskariñcu sam-skarinṭsu. [Skt.] v. a. To reform, improve, repair, make better. బాగుచేయు. To purify, sanctify, consecrate, శుద్ధిచేయు, ప్రతిష్ఠించు. To burn a corpse (శవమును) దహనముచేయు. సంస్కారము sam-skāramu. n. The act of making better or improving, reformation. చక్కచేయుట. The power of memory, any faculty or capacity. ఆనుభూతార్థసంస్మృతి. A purificatory or dedicatory rite or ceremony burning on the funeral pile, దహనము, కాల్చడము. Purification, శోధించడము, పన్నీరు పువ్వులను నీళ్లతో బట్టీలో వేసి అగ్నిసంస్కారము చేసి దించుదురు they put the roses in a still filled with water and by the application of fire make rose water. ఆ శవమును సంస్కారముచేసి వేసినారు they burned the corpse. సంస్కృతము sam-skṛitamu. adj. Deep meditation on the Deity, devout abstraction, absorption of thought. దేవునియందు తదేకధ్యానముగానుండడము. సమాధిస్థానము a place where a recluse sits when praying or meditating. దేవధ్యానము మీదనుండునప్పుడు కూర్చుండేచోటు. వారు జలసమాధిని పొందిరి they found a watery grave.
