(p. 79) aravaralu aravaralu. [Tel.] n. Plu. Bits, fragments. తునకలు, ఖండములు. చిద్రుపలు తుత్తునకలు. 'కావించు దక్షియాగమున శివుని మరచిననయ్యజ్ఞ మరవరలైపోదె.' M. XIII. v. 393. అరవరచేయు to divide into small pieces, to destroy.

(p. 81) arimuri ari-muri. [Tel.] adv. Much, exceedingly, greatly. Quickly, hastily. One after another, repeatedly. అత్యంతము, మిక్కిలి, త్వరగా, శ్రీఘ్రముగా, ఒకటివెంట నొకటి, మాటిమాటికి, ముందువెనుక. 'పౌరుషంబరిమురిగ్రాల పింగళకుడన్మృగరాజు చరించునచ్చటన్.' P. i. 107. అరిమురితనము ari-muri-tanamu. n. Haste, hurry. ఆత్రము. అరిమురిని in haste. ఆత్రపడి 'మరికదాశివునకు మాకునంకంబు, అరిమురితనమిప్పుడదియేలననుచు.' BD. iv. 1747. అరిమురిపడు ari-muri-paḍu. v. i. To hasten. సంభ్రమించు.

(p. 122) āru āru. [Tel.] v. n. To teem with, be full of నిండు; to be or have. సొంపారిన beautiful. ఇంపారిన delightful. నిండారుగానున్నది it is full. అలరారు blooming. చెన్నారిన lovely. పొల్పారిన charming (compare the affix ఆరి as నేర్పరి, సొంపరి, &c.) గోజారు to trouble. సొంపారు to bloom, to be pretty. In such phrases as నూరారు వెయ్యారు the word అరు is not the numeral six, but is a form of అరు to be full; so వెయ్యారు means full thousand and నూరారు full a hundred. నూరారుముద్దులు a full hundred kisses. చేతులారంగ శివుని పూజింపడేని if he sacrifice not to Siva with his own hands. చేతులార రూకలు చెల్లిస్తిని I paid the money with my own hands. పని ఆరుమూడు అయినది the work is all in confusion, at sixes and sevens.

(p. 244) kapardamu kapardamu. [Skt.] n. The braided or matted locks of Siva. శివునిజడముడి. కపర్ది kapardi. n. A title of Siva.

(p. 755) pivākamu pinākamu. [Skt.] n. The name of the bow or trident used by Siva. శివుని ధనుస్సు, త్రిశూలము. A rain of mud, మట్టి వాన. పినాకి pināki. n. An epithet of Siva. శివుడు. పినాకిని pinākini. n. The Sanskrit name of the river Pennar which rises near Nandidroog and falls into the sea near Nellore.

(p. 923) bhikṣakuḍu bhikshu-kuḍu. n. A mendicant ascetic or monk. A beggar, mendicant, pauper. భిక్షువు bhikshuvu. n. A celibate, బ్రహ్మచారి. An ascetic or monk. సన్యాసి. 'అచటినాలవజాతి హలముఖాత్తవిభూతి నాదిభిక్షువుభైక్షమైన మాన్చు.' Swa. i. 3. టీ ఆదిభిక్షువు, మొదటి భిక్షుకుడైన శివునియొక్క, భైక్షమైన, భిక్షావ్యాపారము నైనప్పటికిని.
