Also, to sow seed in a field prepared for the purpose (Vizag.) అలికించు alikinṭsu. (causal of అలుకు.) To have the floor smeared with cowdung, &c.

(p. 195) ēkādaśamu ēkā-daṣamu. [Skt.] adj. Eleventh పదునొకండవది. ఏకాదశి ēkā-daṣi. n. The eleventh day of each lunar fortnight: తొలియేకాదశి another name for ఆషాఢశుద్ధయేకాదశి which is an annual fast. వైకుంఠయేకాదశి a fast held about the 20th of December.

(p. 250) karaṇamu karaṇamu. [Skt.] n. A village clerk, a writer, an accountant. వాడు కూత కరణముగాని వ్రాతకరణముకాడు he has talents for speaking but not for writing. స్థలకరణము the registrar of a district. కరణము n. Instrument, means. కొరముట్టు. An organ of sense. ఇంద్రియము. A god: so named as being 'thirty years old:' this being considered the prime of a man: and the age at which immortals always continue. త్రిదశాలయము tri-daṣ-ālayamu. n. Lit: The abode of the immortals, i.e., Heaven, స్వర్గము. త్రిదివము tri-divamu. n. Heaven. త్రిదివుడు tri-divuḍu. n. A god. The name of a district of Bengal (now called Tipperah) called after its kind, Tripura, a giant who was vanquished by Siva: who, as 'slayer of Tripura' derives hence the name త్రిపురజిత్తు, త్రిపుసూదనుడు, త్రిపురాంతకుడు, త్రిపురారి, &c. త్రిపురదేవి or త్రిపురసుందరి the Bonạ Dea, Venus. త్రిఫలము tri-phalamu. n. The three species of myrobalan; the Phyllanthea emblica కరక, Terminalia chebula తాడి, and Terminalia speciosa ఉసిరిక.
