Original, principal, excellent, real, genuine, legitimate. మొదటిదైన, ముఖ్యమైన, స్వచ్ఛమైన, సంకరముకాని. అసలుదావా the original complaint. అసలు వాది the original complainant. అసలు బేరీజు the original rents or account. అసలు n. The principal, as opposed to the interest మూలధనము Plu. అసళ్లు originals. అసళ్లు ఉంచుకొని నకళ్లు ఇచ్చినాడు he retained the originals and gave the copies. Also, origin, stock in trade.

An old man or woman. మూడు కాళ్లముసలి a crone that hobbles on three legs, i.e., with a staff. plu. ముసళ్లు old people. Swa. vi. 57. Pal. 454.ముసలమ్మసుద్దులు an old wife's tales. ముసలితనము musali-tanamu. n. Old age. వృద్ధత్వము.

(p. 1127) vadalu or వదులు vadaḷu. [Tel.] v. n. To be loosened, to be slackened or untied; to cease, depart, disappear. సడలు, ఊడు, వీడు. జ్వరము వదలిపోయినది the fever went off. నా గ్రహచారము వదిలే కాలమువచ్చినది the time has arrived for my ill-luck to come to an end. ఆ కర్మము వదిలిపోయినది that trouble is now over. v. a. To loosen, let go, quit, renounce, abjure, give up, abstain from. విడిచిపెట్టు, విడుచు, మానుకొను. The act of leaving, విడుపు. వదలించు, వదిలించు or వదల్చు vadalinṭsu. v. a. To loosen, slacken, release, get rid of. విడిపించు, సళ్లించు, పోగొట్టు, వారి గర్వమును వదిలించినాడు he crushed their pride. వదలివేయు or వదలుకొను vadali-vēyu. v. a. To abandon or leave, to desist from, get rid of, abstain from, మానుకొను, త్యజించు.

(p. 1289) saḍalu or సళ్లు saḍalu. [from Skt. శ్లధ.] v. n. To become slack or loose, to fall off. వదలు, వీడిపోవు, ఊడు, ౛ారు. n. Loosening, falling, ఊడుట, ౛ారుట, వదలుట. సడలుపడు Same as సడలు. సడలించు, సడలుచు, సడల్చు, సడలజేయు or సళ్లించు saḍalinṭsu. v. a. To untie, unloose, take off. వదలించు, విచ్చు, తీసివేయు.

(p. 1313) saḷlu or సడలు saḷḷu. [Tel.] v. n. To become slack or loose. వదలు, ౛ారు. వాని ఒళ్లునిండా సళ్లిపోయినది his constitution is much broken down. నడుముసళ్లు to be gone in the loins.
