A fowl, a bird. కోళ్లు poultry, fowls. సీమకోడి a foreign fowl. i.e., a turkey, or Guinea fowl. పిల్లలకోడి a brood hen. కక్కెరకోడి the red painted partridge, Pernix Picta. ఎర్రకోడి the red spur-fowl, Francolinus Spadiccus. చిమిటి కోడి the painted spur-fowl. (p. 1020) mekamekapaḍu meka-meka-paḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To be puffed up with pride. తుళ్లిపడు, గర్వపడు, ఉద్ధతినొందు. 'క ఒక నాడజుండునీ నీడకుడబ్బాటరుగు దెంచుటయునమ్మేలా, త్మకువ్రేగైమన్నించిన, మెకమెకపడితిట్లపలుకు మీతగరేపున్.' M. XIII. iii. 369. మెకమెకపాటు meka-meka-pāṭu. n. Pride. elation. త్రుళ్లు, గర్వము, ఉద్ధతి. (p. 1335) sīma sīma. [Tel.] n. A country, district: (Colloquially,) a foreign country, as Europe or England. దేశము, (వాడుకగా) యూరోపుఖండము, లేక, ఇంగ్లండుదేశము. A kingdom, రాజ్యము. A limit, boundary, barrier, border, frontier, ఎల్ల, పొలిమేర, హద్దు. A part, place, site, స్థలము, ప్రదేశము. సీమాచిహ్నములు ఏర్పరచిరి they fixed the boundaries. సీమలుగానిసీమలు countries which are not our home, i. e. foreign lands. మా సీమను పట్టుకోన్నారు they seizes our lands. adj. Foreign, not native. సీమకోడి a turkey సీమసున్నము white chalk. సీమచింతచెట్టు a kind of tree. సీమరేణిచెట్టు a kind of jungle tree.
