(p. 67) abjamu abjamu. [Skt. అబ్+జ lit. waterborn.] n. A lotus. A conch. పద్మము, శంఖము, అబ్జరేఖ name of a particular form of the lines in the hand. అబ్జజుడు or అబ్జభవుడు abja-juḍu. [Skt.] Brahma (being born from the lotus.) అబ్జనయన abja-nayana. [Skt.] The lotus-eyed (one.) అబ్జబాంధవుడు n. The sun. సూర్యుడు. అబ్జారి or అబ్జుడు n. The moon. చంద్రుడు.

(p. 69) abhinayiñcu abhi-nayinṭsu. [Skt.] v. n. To express emotions by looks, gestures, &c., as actresses do. కండ్లు వేళ్లు మొదలైన వాటిని తిప్పి మనోభావమును తెలియచేయు, అంగన్యాసాదులచే అర్థమును సూచించు. అభినయము abhi-nayamu. [Skt.] n. Action and posture expressive of sentiment, especially the gestures and movements of dramatic representation. వేళ్లు మొదలైన వాటిచేత మనం కార్యమును తెలియచేయడము.

(p. 73) abhyudituḍu abhy-udituḍu. [Skt.] n. A man asleep at sunrise. సూర్యోదయకాల మందు నిద్రపోవువాడు.

(p. 73) abhramu abhramu. [Skt.] n. The sky, a cloud. ఆకాశము, మేఘము. అభ్రంకషము heaven-kissing, sky-touching. అభ్రగము abhragamu. [Skt.] n. A sky-rover, i.e., a bird. పక్షి. అభ్రగపతి the eagle as being the king of birds. గరుడుడు. అభ్రమణి abhra-maṇi. [Skt.] n. The gem of the sky, i.e., the sun. సూర్యుడు.

(p. 76) ayaskāntamu ayas-kāntamu. [Skt.] n. The load-stone, a magnet. సూదంటురాయి అయస్కారుడు ayaskāruḍu. n. A black smith, one who works in iron. కమ్మరి. అయస్సు ayassu. n. Iron. ఇనుము.,

(p. 82) aruṇamu aruṇamu. [Skt.] adj. Red. ఎర్రని. అరుణత or అరుణిమ. n. Pink, dark red. ఎరుపు. ఇంచుకయెరుపు, కపిల వర్ణము, సంధ్యా రాగము. అరుణుడు aruṇuḍu. n. Sun. The charioteer of the sun. సూర్యుడు, సూర్యసారథి. అరుణోదయము aruṇōdayamu. n. The dawn of the day. వేకువజాము.

(p. 83) arkamu or అర్కుడు arkamu. [Skt.] n. The sun. సూర్యుడు. అర్కేందు సంగమము the conjuction of the sun and moon. అచంద్రార్కముగా as long as the sun and moon last.
