A spoke of a carriage wheel. మంచుకల్లు a particle of dew. ఉప్పు కల్లు a crystal of salt. సీ 'భాను శీతాంశువులు బండికండ్లుజేసి' (Kōṭīswara 13.) కల్లుపడు to be stunned స్తంభించు. 'గుండె౛ల్లుమనికల్లలుపడిమునితల్లజుపద పల్లవంబులంగ్రెళ్లియిట్లంటి.' స్వా. v.

(p. 427) ceṭṭu cheṭṭu. [Tel.] n. A tree or plant. చెట్టునట్టు or చెట్టుత్రిమ్మరి a monkey, కోతి. చెట్టుకట్టు to be formed into a tree చెట్టుగా నేర్పడు. చెట్టువ cheṭṭupa. n. A wing. రెక్క. చెట్టుపడు to be turned into a pillar, to become transfixed or stupified స్తంభించు. చెట్టుముటి cheṭṭu-muṭi. n. The plant called Nepeta Malabarica. మగబీరాకు. Rox. i. 1. (p. 775) pullabaḍu or పుల్లపడు pulla-baḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To be stunned, మ్రానుపడు, స్తంభించు, నిశ్చేష్టితుడగు. 'క పుల్లవడిచలమురోషము, బొల్లైననతండు కొంతప్రొద్దుమొగమునన్, వెల్లదనము గదురనిలిచి, యెల్లజనులువినగమరియు నిట్లనిపలికెన్.' M. III. iv. 371.

(p. 1074) rāpaḍu rā-paḍu. [Tel. రాయి + పడు.] v. n. To be turned into a stone, రాయియగు. స్తంభించు. To become firm or hardened. దృఢపడు. To be stunned, become senseless, జడుడగు.

(p. 1286) saṃstambhanamu sam-stambhanamu. [Skt.] n. The name of a magic arrow which arrests the progress of an enemy. శత్రువును మ్రాన్పరచే అస్త్రవిశేషము. T. v. 113. సంస్తంభించు sam-stambh-inṭsu. v. a. To make firm or rigid. స్థాపించు. సిద్ధముచేయు. KP. iii. 251.

(p. 1364) stambhamu stambhamu. [Skt.] n. A pillar, a post, a stalf, a stem, trunk, కంబము, Stupidity, stupefaction. Stoppage or suppression of any sense or power caused by magical incantations or drugs, &c. ఊరకుండుట, మ్రామపాటు, నిలుపడము. అరటిస్తంభము the stem of a plantain tree. స్తంభనము stambhanamu. n. Stopping, obstruction, hindrance. నిలుపడము, ఆటంక పరచడము. అగ్నిస్థంభనము restraining the power of fire by magical means జలన్తంభనము continuing along while under water without inconvenience. వాయుస్థంభనము raising the body in the air and maintaining it in such a position without support. భూతస్థంభనము the laying of ghosts, &c. మృగస్తంభనము restraining wild beasts. ఖడ్గస్థంభనము preventing a sword from doing injury. గతిస్తంభనము stoppage, preventing a man from moving. స్తంభించు stam-bhinṭsu. v. n. To stop, to become motionless, stupefied or insensible, నిలిచిపోవు, మ్రానుపడు. ఈ మాటవిని స్థంభించి పోయినాడు on hearing this he stood stock-still. స్తంభించు or స్తంభింపజేయు stambhinṭsu. v. a. To strike dead, depriev of the power of moving, make motionless. కదలకుండా నిలిచేటట్టు చేయు, మ్రానుపడజేయు.
