A tenor note, similar to that of the cook when crowing; also, a note like that of the linnet or cuckoo. The musical treble. 'The five faced;' an epithet of Siva. పంచాక్షరి panch-ākshari. n. (p. 786) peṭapeṭa peṭa-peṭa. [Tel. anuk.] n. A crashing or gnashing noise, a loud sound. కొయ్యమొదలైనవి బద్దలగుధ్వని. పెటపెటమను or పెటపెటలాడు peṭa-peṭa-m-anu. v. n. To produce a crashing sound. పెటపెట అను ధ్వనికలదిఅగు. పెటులు, పెటలు, పెటిలు or పెట్లు peṭulu. v. n. To crack or split, as paint, or as grain does when roasted. To explode, to burst. పేలినల్దిక్కులను చెదరునట్లుచేయు. 'పేరినలవణంపు ఘట్టములు దృస్యదిరమ్మద దావముల్ దవుల్కొనిపెటిలించు నార్బటులకోయనగా.' A. iv. 122.

(p. 886) bilibili bili-bili. [Tel.] adj. Sweet, delicate, nice. ముద్దైన, మురిపెపు. 'చులకనిపద్యమైన గడు చోద్యమముచేయుచు విన్నవాని పెద్దలు గొనయాడగాను వినితప్పులుబట్టదలంతురక్షముల్ బిలిపలికెడు చిల్కపిల్లగని బావురుపిల్లులు సంతసిల్లునే.' G. i. 17. (p. 912) bōru bōru. [Tel.] adj. Great, large. బోరుతలుపులు or బోర్తలుపులు large doors, పెద్దకవాటములు. 'వారలుతమ తమవాకిటి, బోరుతలుపులెట్టి సమయములదెరవకతా, రారసిపదిలముసేయుచు, వారూఢస్థితివహించిరా సౌధములోన్.' KP. vi. 130. n. A rush or downpour, as of heavy rain, వానకురియుటయందగు ధ్వన్యనుకరణము. బోరున, బోరన, భోరున or భోరన bōruna. adv. Quickly, rushingly, శీఘ్రముగా. Much, grandly, greatly, heavily (as rain.) వాన జోరున కురిసినది it rained heavily. బోరునిఏడ్బినది she wept bitterly. 'మనుజేశ్వరులెల్లనుబోరన దమయంతీ స్వయంవరమునకు నొప్పంజనుదెంచిరి.' M. III. ii. 28. బోరుకలగు, బోరుకలుగు or బోరుకల్గు bōru-kalugu. v. n. To sound loud, మ్రోగు, ధ్వనించు బోరుకొను bōru-konu. v. n. To resound, sound aloud. 'భేరిమొదలగువాద్యముల్ బోరుకొనగ.' Ila. i. 104. బోరుకొలుపు bōru-kolupu. v. a. To sound. ధ్వనించునట్లుచేయు. 'బూరుగల్ కంచుకొమ్ములు కాహళములు బోరు కొలుపుటకు నంబుధులెల్లగలగ.' ND. ii. 552.

Much, grandly, greatly, heavily (as rain.) వాన భోరున కురిసినది it rained heavily. భోరున ఏడ్చినది she wept bitterly. భోరున వెడలెను he proceeded in great pomp. 'భోరున గురిసిరి పుష్ప వర్షములు.' DRY. 2268. 'మనుజేశ్వరులెల్లను భోరన దమయంతీ స్వయంవరమునకు నొప్పం, జనుదెంచిరి.' M. III. ii. 28. భోరుకొను bhōru-konu. v. n. To resound, sound aloud. 'భేరిమొదలగు వాద్యముల్ భోరుకొనగ.' Cooking, particularly if performed with one's own hand: cooking in general, తానేవండుకొనడము, వంట. నేటి స్వయంపాక మెవరిది who has cooked to-day? who has given (you) this day's food? అంతామనసులో స్వయంపాకము చేస్తున్నాడు he keeps his thoughts to himself. స్వయంపాకి svayam-pāki. n. One who cooks for himself. తనకుతానే వంట చేసికొనువాడు. స్వయంభువు svayam-bhuvu. adj. Self existent, self formed, self produced. తనకుతానే పుట్టిన, వుట్టి నది పుట్టినట్టుగా ఉండే. స్వయంభూరవ a rough diamond. స్వయంభూలింగము a natural image, a store uncarved by man. n.
